  1. What happens when Ronaldo or Torres (or Rickie )is up for sale? Will no-one be able to bid more than £30m?
  2. Got my 6 in the post yesterday, ordered on Friday 5th, so I'm happy. I'm sure everyone's will turn up soon!
  3. How not to drive http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/west_yorkshire/8574609.stm
  4. Not gonna get any answers to your questions then I see!!
  5. I found it funny
  6. OK, thanks for letting me know. I hope it is a good book. What you reading?
  7. What has George Clooney got to do with it all though? :-k
  8. I hope he never scores for us. Players generally attract interest from the media when they score goals, so the less that is said about him, the better for Saints! Even when you see a story about a centre back being linked with someone, they always show him scoring a goal or say he has 4 goals in 94 appearances, like its their job!
  9. Not going to Wembley then?
  10. Loving Pardew's end comment (regardless of whether its real or not!) Great result last night, turned onto sky sports news just in time to see the 5th goal go in. Happy to feel that we might make the play-offs, but can be very few slip ups, and I wouldn't have thought we'd be there at the end of the season, but I still want to hope!!
  11. The difference being? Both sets are doing their jobs, but because one is worse than the other at any said 'job' then its ok for you to abuse them? But if someone else does, then they are a meathead.
  12. Don't you mean not a couple of pervs?
  13. So you can't tell if someone is older than you or not then? Same for me, I'm 31, and struggle to tell the difference between someone who is 16 or 25. Personally I find having a bald receding hairline helps get you served, never had a problem getting served anywhere at any age
  14. How on earth can anyone mock for our stadium not being sold out, when they have been on limited purchase to people on the database only for 1 and a bit days so far???!? If it doesn't sell out by next Wednesday, then it seems very likely to me it will do so when it goes on non-linked database only members, and not selling out a 32,000 seater stadium within a couple of days can hardly be used as a stick to bash anyone with, regardless of who they are and opposition. Besides, how often has their stadium sold out this season? Haven't they had quite a few games with plenty of empty seats, despite being in the 'promised lands' of the Prem.
  15. got through after waiting for about 5 mins whilst the phone rang on the 01271 number. result!
  16. tried the other number, just rings for so far but holding on....
  17. Phoned up yesterday morning about 9.30 for MK Dons tickets, got through in less than 10 mins, the call was sorted in another 5, they found me easily on the database only via my full name as didn't have a customer number, and also gave the person I was going with a customer number, so will make it very easy buying tickets for the Pompey game now. Very happy with that service.
  18. Yes Ben, he would be cup tied
  19. Why did the Echo 'investigate' this in Florence? Simply because of the past links we hear speculated that help us get Papa Waigo? So they then run a non-story about random people in Florence and Fiorentina not knowing who who Nicola was, when the club after him were AC Milan all along. Ooh them at the Echo must be feeling stupid!! Quite clearly a bitter and twisted agenda being run by the Echo trying to discredit Nicola or something which is not really going to work, considering how good he has been for Saints.
  20. More proof for my theory that all scouts are robots.
  21. Sky Sports news are running 2 lines at the bottom of the screen saying that it is being denied that a deal has been done for Barnard, without mentioning Saints. Probably means something will happen soon then
  22. I laughed hard too, good man for time wasting as as soon as he went over the white line, he started walking normally again Fonte was my MoM, excellent performance, especially as he was captain for the night, hopefully will be the future captain too. No one has mentioned that the Sky commentator twice said how good Antonio was for someone who had come directly from non-league football, and how well we had done to pick him up, failing to mention the fact that we have him on loan from Reading! That really annoyed me. Same opinion as everyone else on Antonio, very raw, good spurts but very erratic. I would have brought Waigo on with 20 mins to go, surely proven by the fact that Antonio got cramp eventually. Ref made some shocking decisions, what did he say when Thomas lifted his shirt to show the ref the massive stud marks going all down his chest and stomach (clearly visible on Sky)? "Oh, it was your fault Thomas for lowering your chest when trying to get the ball"? Also, no one else has mentioned it, but I'm sure linesmen/refs cracked down not long ago on players holding the ball up in the corner of the pitch when time wasting at the end of matches, and I've seen 'fouls' been given for exactly what Antonio done in other games. Or didn't do of course! perhaps it is some unofficial rule or something the refs adhere to.
  23. No I didn't, I also saw you had said this in the Romsey thread. I'll mention it loudly next time I'm in the Earl and see if the barstaff or locals can tell me all about it. I work in Chichester too by the way. I almost feel like I am dating, giving away a little information at a time.
  24. Used to live in Bognor, it was rubbish. Unfortunately I am soon to move into Portsmouth (again) which is also rubbish. But Bognor is worse imo. So yeah, lock it
  25. I used to live in Bognor, now I live in Lavant and the Earl is my local - are you following me around? I hung out with Tommy Boyd in the pub the other day during a 'snow day'.
