If you went recently, it was probably my ex's sister, who I saw working in there a few months ago.

The one who is standing 'off-shore' you mean like Jesus would? I'd say approximately 2 metres
-
Is it in Dibden Purlieu?
-
Don't do it, he'll lie to you about Saints signing Freddy Adu
-
Fair enough. You were right then
-
Relegation for Newcastle? Really? Unless you're talking about next season and beyond, and then you could say that about any team.
-
I agree. Would be offside all the time.
-
and yeah, I would, but don't tell my other half

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1226284/The-veggie-phobic-Woman-bizarre-fear-left-shaking-sight-carrots-peas.html She works as a supply teacher at the same school as my girlfriend, and since people started leaving carrots in her pigeon hole, she had to inform the entire school staff via email that it was 'a fake story that her mate, who just got into journalism, wrote to practise, and somehow it got printed in a national paper'. Hmmm yeah sure. Though not how she is able to lay on the vegetables in the picture if she is indeed allergic to them?!?

You rather we had 3 passes then crossed it, or 42 passes then crossed it?
-
I did. I am well good.

Ha, Ii was scrolling to the bottom of the topic to post the same - you beat me to it Llike someone says in the Echo comments, if the students are getting cheaper drinks due to discount cards etc (which they do in many places) then instead of generally raising the prices of drinks for everyone, just take away their discount cards.

Ok, I will probably get lambested for this one...

I fricking love Freddy Adu!!!! Ever since you used to be able to buy him as a 15 year old (or was it younger than that?) on Champ Man. Still, he'll never come to us in our current position! -
Bristol Rovers are a well known Nazi supporting football team

Bristol Rovers Vs Saints,1st half & half time chat..
Jez replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
papa doesn#t even make the bench then - injury? Should be an attacking game judging by Saints line up. Surely 4-4-2 too with Connolly and Antonio playing -
Apparently Newcastle are interested

This article says Boxing Day is always the 26th, but then the next available weekday is simply a bank holiday, not Boxing Day itself. http://www.timeanddate.com/holidays/uk/boxing-day :smt015

Not sure ironic is the right word. I mean, its not like you've got 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. Bbut anyway, Prost must be doing something right!
-
No they didn't. We were by far the better team and whatever 'tactics' or 'preparation' they had didn't work, they just had luck on their side, and we didn't. On another day, the same match would have ended up in a comfortable victory for Saints.

I know this is back on the first page, but I really hope you think this is actually the correct saying as it made me laugh imagining you saying it in conversation
-
A few people have misread the thread. No one mentioned 500k for Antonio - that was a made up figure Matthew Le God used in relation to Papa on FM '10!!
-
Well, you didn't die, so clearly it was wrong, so why worry about it!!
-
Great read, thats the sorta thing this forum is all about. Cheers both of you, made my lunchtime much more interesting.

I like these comments from the article and the fans responses underneath "Clearly could be performing if it wasn't for injuries" The former Blackburn striker was pleased to land the 25-year-old admitting his "footballing brain" was a key factor behind his arrival. Good luck to Pulis of course though - those who mock are only jealous!
