OK, perhaps it was someone else, just seen there are 7 of you so far.....
-
Didn't you do a post like this last year, if my memory serves me correctly?!?!
-
Wouldn't most normal people rejoice and say 'Yuss we have 2 confirmed bids' rather than being so negative and worry that we had missed out on a rumoured 3rd bid? Your prospective on Saints is odd.

Let's be honest, it was always going to be Friday anyway!

Yuss!! Two class games I would put up there for sure! I played Moonstone on an Amiga a few months ago, it was actually still addictive and great fun, especially multiplayer. Agree with the crashings though! (obviously as all games were copies) One of the games I have best memories of is Dragon's Breath, if anyone has ever heard of that!

shock in 2nd to bottom of the league losing to top of the league 3-0. Why does everyone need someone to blame? How about the fact that Wolves are simply better than us and the league proves this?
-
Cyber applause to all the Saints fans at Wolves today..

Ace poll results!! So far, one person travels less than 2 miles to get to Saints home matches. So that pretty much covers the whole of Southampton centre, so our fanbase isn't even based in the city anymore!

Onion Bhaji tastes most like the product sounds, and Builders Breakfast just tastes of Sulphur and egg. Which might be the plan, but aren't pleasant! Had Chilli and Choc this morning, 2nd pack, couldn't really taste the choc this time tho, just a bland Chilli taste.

How about this link as provided above? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2213722.ece?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Football

This is quite exciting actually, regardless of any truth either way!

Weren't Bournemouth virtually mathematically down last season, or the year before, and then won about 6, 7 or 8 games in a row, only to lose (or draw) last game of the season and still end up relegated? If they were that poor to be bottom of the league, and then suddenly turn things around under pressure, perhaps we can too (but stay up) I still voted 'yes we'll be relegated' however. Head over heart and all that.

Nice write up Rich

I was expecting Le Tiss to correct him to be honest!

I see Diamonds are favourites for relegation again. Shocking!

The whole idea of this is that it will be increased in the future to 6 or 8 or 9 or something. This is the just the beginning, and is a gradual start. It may not make any difference now, but it will do in time. Like someone else pointed out, if they went straight in with wanting 8 match day squad players, then the rule would not have gone through. So its not a cop out, it just gives everyone the chance to ready themselves for future increases gradually.

wasting a post just to say lol. The thread being titled 'the youth approach will never deliever stability' is so wrong. Of course it will, the best (playing) stability if allowed to flourish, as all those players would have been playing together for years! Of course, some will be sold, and replaced with other youngsters, but if, in our current financial position, we don't use the youth approach, its gonna be old journey men or untested players from League Two joining Saints. And that'll never work, as it has no future and would only be used to ensure we avoided relegation rather than aim for promotion, which will blooding the kids, eventually we'll be able to.

Surely if we've currently got a £4.9m loss, we don't have to instantly pay it all off now. We'll be paying in installments, won't need to sell x amount of players to raise all of the monies, but just a limited amount so we can pay off some of the debt. Its not like we'll have to pay it all off to become the only football team in England without debts! So sure we'll have to raise some funds, but it might be that just selling those (that admittedly no one previously wanted and are all on loan now) might be enough, or else we might have to lose 1 of the players no one wants to see leave, rather than all of them. Why is everyone thinking its all or nothing? If we can keep most of our team, and start getting some results, then the attendance will increase and we'll have greater funds for paying off debts etc. Of course, result dependant, but aren't all football teams?

This makes for more interesting readin, as like people people point out, our fans were predicting massive losses for us the same as the Royals fans were predicting massive wins for them! http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=82446 A fair bit of praise for Saints in there, if you can find it! Seems the same old thing however, opposition lose to Saints, and blame it on their team having an off day and not playing well - no credit ever seems to be given to Saints for stopping others teams from playing!

Yes. Me working there was the ONLY reason Michael Jackson never visited Beaulieu Motor Museum. I wish he did though, he would have loved Wheels. I agree with Johnny too, excellent use of "they're".

Terry looked over his shoulder about 5 times, he knew exactly where the player was, was literally walking just next to the ball, and in the end tried shielding the ball from the attacker by attempting to chest it into the ground. All he had to do was knock it out wide, but defenders often try to leave it as late as possible to get the best possible outcome, and this time it backfired. Carson should have been there quicker, but if a defender is in doubt, just smack it wide. Normally a keeper would take control of a situation like that, but as Carson is young and inexperienced, in comparison to England Captain Terry, Terry should have dealt with it. Good captaincy work on the PR front afterwards, but probably just being honest.
-
Number 2 is a lie because I used to work at Beaulieu and he has never visited. I did see Liberace there a few times however.

Nice competition. Three teams so presumably one side each year gets a bye into the final! Poor old Alderney, only ever winning it once too.
