  1. Don't be silly. Old people can't jump.
  2. Still waiting...
  3. waiting for video.
  4. I've got a Dell laptop. Woopie - no COA needed. Popped my Win 7 ultimate disk in yesterday and installed no problemo.
  5. We had 100,000 precision-designed Beck’s Vier glasses to give away. We’ve had a huge response and unfortunately all the glasses have been claimed. If you missed out, why not sign up for emails using the link below? That way you’ll be one of the first to know when we plan something next time.
  6. I didn't think this was even possible. I thought you had to do a fresh install of windows from anything other than Vista. I've just got my copy of Vista Ultimate - just installing it now!
  7. F*ck off! You're just trying to steal my name.
  8. Bad sales technique Jill. Can't you post the pictures on here?
  9. The free upgrade to windows 7 from Vista Home Premium seems to have worked pretty well where I work fortunately.
  10. It is slow, and albeit very few, it still has bugs. It tends to be people who use their computer for more than posting on SWF that find these bugs though I honestly think you would prefer Windows 7 if you had a play with it.
  11. I stupidly didn't read the thread before posting. I'm so embarrassed.
  12. Windows 7 is brilliant. I almost prefer it to XP which really is saying something. It has improved a lot over Vista, however I would still choose to put XP on a netbook.
  13. Indeed.
  14. I think the underground w*nkers got pretty much what they wanted out of their strike.

  16. I know nothing.
  17. I might not have explained it properly, but that's not really what I mean. Thanks for the input though Al I'm after a program that acts like itunes in that it gathers and manages all your music, sorts out the album art and stuff like that. Just I want to do it for DVD's I have saved on my PC! I have found this program - http://www.team-mediaportal.com/download.html which I am going to give a try tonight. If that doesn't work I'm going to try and load either Windows Vista HP or Windows XP Media Centre Edition, as both of those supposedly have the capabilities to do what I'm after. I don't know how they will handle codecs and things like that though
  18. I've got an LG 720P 32" TV in the bedroom at home. A computer tucked away in the cupboard behind the TV. The TV and the PC are connected via HDMI. I've got 2x 1TB hard drives in the computer with films on. At the moment I have a wireless mouse connected to the PC and can happily sit in bed and click on which film I want to watch. Is there a program out there that would do to my films what itunes does to music? Like a media management program? Would be nice to have an interface to click away at rather than having to use windows.
  19. Think our prisons are slightly too full for idiots like him. Perhaps dropping him in the middle of the ocean and seeing if he manages to swim home would be a better punishment.
  20. Can we play spot thesaint sfc in the picture?
  21. thesaint sfc likes this
  22. Would be handy in the Hardware/Software Issues forum but otherwise fairly pointless on here. They've got it on a lot of computing/technology forums and its amazing how competitive people get to have the highest number of thanks. You get people you've never spoken to before spending hours ripping their computers apart to answer a simple question for you. One particular forum I visit I go on there and ask stupid things, like 'what is Asda Direct's telephone number?' and with that you get about 40 people replying with the answer after a thanks!
