I know age & the perception of if you are old or young is obviously different at every age, clearly someone who is older than you is gonna think you seem young compared with them. I’m at that age (lateish 30’s) where I have stopped fighting the onset of getting old & am instead now embracing it. A few things have happened recently that I’ve noted as things I would have felt were very uncool a few years ago. I’m sure you can all come up with some more, but here are a few of my recent ones….. On being asked on Monday morning how my weekend was, I said that I had had a brilliant weekend. On being asked what I had done, my answer was “Nothing other than relax & watch tv” I’ve just bought myself a hot water bottle I’ve specifically gone out of my way to find a certain fragrance for my washing detergent I am also considering buying an umbrella, although I’ve not gone that far yet

Sounds like he's ideal for the skates!

Or, just maybe, they have enough money already to mean that whilst they are financially very sensible people, in this situation they may well put the wishes of Markus before the chance of making a few million (small change to them). I’d be shocked if they sold the club before we got back to the premiership, shocked!

proper laugh out loud one that!

Oh FFS that would be less than cool. I hope you're not usually right with your predictions! -

This. I have decided to start using twitter rather than facebook as I am bored of hearing what people I haven't seen since school had for tea & seeing pictures of their babies & children!

I'm not really used to Twitter, so I'm following Solent, but all I can see is their updates, I can't see what others are asking them? What do I need to do to see the magic?

Is this worth registering on to a skate forum? In fact why do I even ask, yet more chance to laugh at them has got to be worth it

Fortunately inbreeding means this accent will eventually die out!

If ever there was a business that could do with some process improvements (other than our own ticket office), it's the skates football club!

Good shout, the nano battery overheating issue may explain why my old nano screen looked like it was starting to melt inside! I'd have never know about this had you not posted, so cheers for doing so, just dug it out the drawer & completed the form.

I had to check the time of the original post, I expected it to have been made in the early hours after a night on the razz!

Cheers for suggestions, got some work to get done today so can't risk stuffing it up, but will have a look Monday evening. Instead of going for the removal option, if I were to leave the new card in, what are the chances of getting it working if the pc processor doesn't meet minimum specifications? It doesn't have to be functioning fully, just working (ie I don't need it to cope with gaming, HD video, etc, all I want is to be able to use the port for a monitor for work stuff like excel, email, etc. Should these things still function with a lesser processor to a certain extent? ie is the fact I can't get it to work directly because the processor isn't good enough, or could it be other reasons?

I’ve fitted a new video card into my pc (it's a pretty old & basis pc by todays standards), the main reason was just so that I had another monitor port as I’ve just bought a new monitor so I thought I could use the duel screen option to use the old & new monitors together. As the new monitor had a HDMI connector, I got myself a HD video card (Radeon HD5450). Anyway, long story short, my pc isn’t up to the job, the processer isn’t good enough for the spec this card requires. My problem is that now, if I remove the new Radeon board, the pc screws up. When I switch it on after removal the display is ok initially, but during start up the display scrambles & I can’t see what is what. If i put the card back in the display is fine (I’ve done this a couple of times to check it wasn’t a one off). So basically although I can’t get the computer to actually recognise the Radeon card driver or do anything with it, I’ve done something which means the I’ve got to keep it in to get a normal display picture. Does anyone have any idea why removing a board/driver that doesn't 'seem' to be doing anything, is causing the display from working like it did before I installed it? ta
