 Whilst it’s sad what happened, the radio station is not responsible for a weak minded woman killing herself due to having loads of stuff going on in her life! -

Honorary (and perhaps punitive!) SaintsWeb user classes
Spudders replied to pap's topic in Site suggestions
I like this idea of user classes, but the main problem is that this would be classed as 'fun' which I don't think is allowed these days. -
moaning about people moaning, ironic

Problem solved! Maybe block 42 lower could be couples only?
-
-
Afterwards it's every man for himself! Stop thinking about food stocks, we will come to that in a few days time, today is all about mental preperation for the horrors that await!

I'm in block 42 and it does seem like the kingsland north corner is taking control a bit more with starting chants and a bit of additional volume.

OK you’ve practiced your panic face so when it happens you’re ready to look suitably scared. Now it’s time to think about what happens next and in summary it will be one of two things: The event will be of such a magnitude that within seconds we will all be turned into dust There will be pain and suffering, but more importantly there will be survivors. If it’s option 1 then there’s very little you can do other than briefly think about how meaningless your life has been in the grand scheme of things. For today’s countdown task we are going to assume it’s option 2. You’ve survived the event, but all around is death, pain and suffering. Spend today thinking about the sorts of things you’ll see, there will be bodies, burnt bodies, bodies with bits hanging off them. There we be people who are alive but with bits hanging off, they’ll be screaming and in pain. There may be people who are dead but still alive if the dead rise or zombies are on the apocalypse guest list. You need to be mentally prepared for all of these things if you have any chance of surviving the initial carnage. Be ready, tomorrow we’ll talk about where to go, but for today focus on what horrific sights you’ll be faced with. Here’s todays countdown photo:

You make a good point there Charlie, maybe that's why it was moved so quickly. I can only learn from this experience, I am like a young Luke Skywalker and you are my Yoda. By moving the thread to the muppet show, whichever mod moved it (I'm thinking St Chalet by the way, as he was lurking around at the time) they have caused it to go off topic already with all this talk of spitting in Urinals (should be a thread of its own) and peeing at music concerts (not saints related). I guess it being opened up to other events inscreases the number of top urinal stories we'll hear so it's not all bad, but it's a shame the main board users who never come into the mupett show will miss out now, oh well their loss!
-
FFS which mod moved this? This was serious and football related. You leave threads on the main board about clapping for a minute for X player (when it's been done 5 or 6 times), yet when someone comes up with something a little different (yet still saints and football related) you move it straight away. Rubbish.
-
No, this is serious. If I was taking the pee I'd have put this in the muppet show. It's an important part of the football experience

Went for a leak in the concourse before the game and the guy next to me was so hot he was peeing steam, had to hold my breath so I didn’t breath his wee steam in. It reminded me of when I was at an away game a few seasons ago and some guy was peeing so hard that it was splashing back everywhere and me and the guy the other side of him had to move out the way. Share your urinal stories here……. (please keep them saints related so this can stay on the main board brothers!)

It’s amazing how clueless, fickle and sheep-like some fans are isn’t it. There were a load behind me all criticising him when he came on and singing that if he scored they’d go on the pitch, then when he had a shot and almost did score, the same people started signing his name.

Exactly this! If none of them were even there, then that makes things so much easier. Anyone who stands up wishing they could sit down when there's no-one about but a load of seats with bags on deserves to be stood up. Grow some balls and sit yourself down FFS -
13 days to go folks, 13 days. Time to start thinking about what your panic face will look like? Here’s todays countdown photo: Good point, and why should they get to see the four horsemen of the apocalypse hours before us, life’s so unfair That fits with the one massive volcano theory and then the lava could roll around the world slowly burning the flesh from our skin
-
Thinking about it, you've made me realise, I've been planning on total annihilation and death, but if it is some half arsed event that involves survivors and I don’t die, I’m gonna be pretty badly prepared! Maybe I need to rethink my plans?

Duchess of Cambridge hospital nurse found dead

Oh come on, other than being sad and pointless the prank itself wasn't a big deal. The worst thing about the prank itself was that a persons personal information was exposed. It's a shame it's had an impact on someone to the extent it has, but as I said a few posts above this woman clearly had other issues. No-one kills themselves because of such a trivial event, she's got two children FFS, killing yourself over that one event would be ludicrous. If the prank hadn’t happened some other event would have pushed her over the edge and none of us would have even heard of her or of her death -
Ha, that’s mad, those crazy Americans, they’re funny aren’t they. I’m surprised the gay demon sounds so manly, I was thinking a gay demon would sound a bit more like Louie Spence

If the world's going to end why would you need bog roll? Even if you shat yourself as it happens, you'll not be around for long afterwards

Duchess of Cambridge hospital nurse found dead
Spudders replied to Doctoroncall's topic in The Lounge
Ok, before I say this, I do obviously think the fact that someone has died is tragic, but, why should either of the nurses involved have needed to get help? All they did was fall for a prank and give out some information when they shouldn’t have. Whilst the info they gave out was personal to one person, ultimately it wasn’t really serious, Kate has gone home and no real harm was done. Most people make the odd mistake at work occasionally. You learn by them, don’t do it again and move on. I’m not aware that either of the staff members had been named (before this death), so it’s not even as if they’d have been being hounded by the press I wouldn’t have thought? There must be more to this lady killing herself than just this event. I can understand something like this being the final straw for someone if they are having a hard time. But IF the only reason she killed herself (if that was the case) is because of this event, then to be honest I think that’s pathetic. -
ooooooh ouch, a rookie mistake. I always avoid saying anything factual or saints related on the main board, just too risky!

Barry, if you're not going to do this daily, can you do a two or three day forcast so we know where we stand. I had to go up to the shops today without knowing what was going to happen with the weather. I got back ok, but that's not the point is it.
