For me one of the main benefits of being in the PL is that you genuinely have a chance to get to Wembley either in this cup (final) or the FA cup (semi & final). Whats the point if ur gonna put this team out. I would have been gutted if I had made the journey.

Whats gone on?? I'll tell you whats gone on. Weve gone from L1 to the Prem in just over a year. Its startled us and a lot of people in the club are having problems coping. We just need to get used to where we are. It might mean changing the manager, it might not. Personally I think were a good team that deserves to be in this league. However we need to stop being quality for 30 to 40% of the game and try and be for 90%.

Probably joking about the 50 year thing bearing in mind seconds earlier it had been established that he had played in one, unless of course he thinks it was over 50 years ago.

I'm going to ask for half my money back after that first half. It's all very well having encouraging spells/halfs in games but what the point if in the rest of the game we're sh1te and ship 2,3 or more goals. FFS in the first half we didnt have one shot let alone one on target. Spurs would have scored 5 or 6 today if Defoe wasnt so gash. Need Cork and Ramirez back and fast, or maybe NA is just out of his depth. Still think we'll stay up because something will change in a big way - it has to.

I usually find I have to make sure I X out the right windows as sometimes X brings up new ad windows. You learn though. Has never been every 3 years. I remember we had same kit (albeit with different sponsors) between 1981 & 85. Since then it's always been every 2 years up until the last 3 years where its been replaced yearly.

Typical. We have Spurs on the previous Sunday and only have a 2 day rest as well as a trip up North. Leeds have Brighton on the Friday a few days later but why should it be us that only has the 2 day gap and not them.

Bizarre as I was thinking this myself this morning. The whole point of having an away kit is if the home kit clashes, so rule Norwich away out too.

The games are on 30/31st but we play on the previous Sunday 28th (not Sat) and Leeds play on Fri 2nd Nov at Brighton. One of us will have to play 2 games within 2 days

Sounds like we weren't inspirational but didn't need to be against a poor side. I went to Brighton v Sheff Wed the other week on a Fri night and I thought Wednesday were tragic.

... not forgetting the 3 - 1 away win at Spurs in the FA cup that season. This Liverpool game I will never forget. Was 16 years old in my first year at Eastleigh College. Lost my voice for days after. Never forget the feeling waking up the next day at 6am to start my first day working at the Wessex hotel, Winchester. I remember being very nervous at 3 - 1 when Liverpool were pressing. But then once it was 4-1 we could have made it 5 or 6. Liverpool were miles above anyone in those days
