This is a stroll at the moment. Still very nervous though.

He's the reason I support them. I bet a lot of late 30's / early 40's Saints fans actually don't come from Soton but started supporting Saints coz of the season signing. I got this book when I was 8 and got it again for Xmas for nostalgic reasons. http://www.amazon.com/Kevin-Keegans-Book-British-Football/dp/0723509670

Cant believe Chappers is the same age as Ronaldo.
-
This was just when I started supporting Saints. Had that full kit and with that sponsor

Whenever we do sell out, its not as if the tickets go the minute they're on sale. For example, we`ll sell out City at home but only towards the latter stages of this week.
-
It was obvious when they brought the kits out that unless they opt for the white to be often worn with the red shorts, it would get one outing - Liverpool. The home kit gets far more outings than our normal home kit as it clashes a lot less (eg Fulham, Spurs, QPR etc) and any teams left with home kits that do clash also clash with the all white. You'd have to be a bell end to buy this kit.

I never knew until now that was sung to the tune of don't you want me. I just thought it was a stupid song.

Can you name the Top 31 Southampton Premier League Scorers?

Berkovic only scored 4 times ? -
Found this article from when he was due to go to Ipswich. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aston_villa/1389099.stm Burley: "Hassan is a gifted international midfield player who has shown his great quality playing for Southampton for the past three seasons."

Met him in Ayia Napa in 2000. He was a clown.

That's how we got a result. We let them think we were sh1t then brought them on. Had they been on from the start we may have got an early lead but Chelsea would have fought back.

Utter rubbish. I was at the Chelsea match and you saw the way Adkins interacted with the players at full time that the whole team & staff were as one. Without doubt NA was learning as he was going along but he was indeed learning and he was clearly turning the corner. IMO we were on the way to having one of the most sought after managers in the country, and he would have repaid the loyalty (had it been given) and stuck with us, eventually only leaving us to become the England manager. Maybe our new guy will come good but will someone please tell me what the 'next level' is supposed to mean. Are we going to be gunning for the Champions league, because frankly the Europa league is a nothing competition for me.

Since Monday you mean when Puncheon popped back inside to ride the porcelain horse.
-
Blackbum would have been perfect for him. Maybe wait for the ex skate to fail and then step in.
-
He certainly set his stool out in that game.
-
Got a strange feeling we're gonna get a couple of killer signings before the windows out.

Lambert gets back to back promotions then f&cks up at Villa. Adkins gets back to back promotions then...... (why the hell would you want to go to Vanilla)

Has anyone on here spoken to adkins since he was dismissed?

I hope he doesnt go to a PL club. Loads of our players will follow him. They wont go to the likes of Leeds. -
just turned on soccer Saturday and obviously missed the Saints bit. What was said ?
-
Liverpool would see him as another Hodgson. Blackbum would have been a good job for him had the ex Skate not got it.
-
Signing this dude seems like such a side issue. The Saints part of me is deflated tonight.

Daily Echo: "Reports emerged in the last 24 hours that the St Mary’s chief had met Argentinian coach Pochettino, who has been out of work since late November, when he was let go by Espanyol after a poor run of results." Is this some kind of sick joke.

So have we signed Forren then? http://beta.dailyexpress.co.uk/sport/football/371637/Southampton-sign-Norwegian-defender-Vegard-Forren -
Lets face it, pretty much all of us wanted him out. He was great in 09/10 then never found any form in 10/11. For the 2nd half of 10/11 and most 11/12 we wanted him out and he wanted out but no one would take him full time. Even when we made up with him at the end of 11/12 (last season) he didn't look that great to me. Really don't know where this great form has come from?? Not complaining mind.
