Typical. We have Spurs on the previous Sunday and only have a 2 day rest as well as a trip up North. Leeds have Brighton on the Friday a few days later but why should it be us that only has the 2 day gap and not them.
-
Bizarre as I was thinking this myself this morning. The whole point of having an away kit is if the home kit clashes, so rule Norwich away out too.
-
The games are on 30/31st but we play on the previous Sunday 28th (not Sat) and Leeds play on Fri 2nd Nov at Brighton. One of us will have to play 2 games within 2 days

Cheers mate

of the Capital One cup obviously.
-
Sounds like we weren't inspirational but didn't need to be against a poor side. I went to Brighton v Sheff Wed the other week on a Fri night and I thought Wednesday were tragic.

... not forgetting the 3 - 1 away win at Spurs in the FA cup that season. This Liverpool game I will never forget. Was 16 years old in my first year at Eastleigh College. Lost my voice for days after. Never forget the feeling waking up the next day at 6am to start my first day working at the Wessex hotel, Winchester. I remember being very nervous at 3 - 1 when Liverpool were pressing. But then once it was 4-1 we could have made it 5 or 6. Liverpool were miles above anyone in those days -
Ramirez didn't get a good enough mention for me (by Lineker, Lawro etc I mean)
-
Averaging over 30k is bloody good. I remember when in League one looking at the likes of Middlesboro and Blackburn struggling to get 20-25k. Remember our fan base up until 10 years ago were used to only having 15k tickets to scramble over.

TBF, he must have known his days would shortly be numbered especially considering he knows we have cash to spend. Also, in his last season in the Prem for Sunderland (05-06) he was awful and Sunderland were laughing at us for taking him for £1m. That said he's been a great servant for us. Turned down a move for Wham in 2009 in favour of first team football for a team in L1 with -10. For me he will join a list of players who I consider true warriors for the club during our wilderness years but now realise they don't cut the mustard, eg Hammond, Harding, Barnard etc

3 goalies ?? Didn't we also sign that USA under 20 keeper the other week?
-
Trust me, with all the new and current players having a solid week of training (not 2 days like this week) we'll be a different team next weekend. We were all waxing lyrical (as were all the pundits) about how great we played against Manure and how we dont look out of place in the Prem.

Hammond in last nights Brighton programme:
-
They looked pretty decent last night be but then again they were pretty good at the beginning of last season but couldn't keep it up.
-
I was at the game last night as well. Fitted in well. Liked his programme comments asking Albion fans for forgiveness.

Relegation v Man Ure scum.
-
I'm happy as long as its for only one season. Maybe NC thought it would be a good idea as you could argue it looks more professional - maybe beneficial as he tries to open Saints up to be a global brand (eg in Japan)
-
Who were those skanks singing RVP songs over the road opposite the away coach after the game. Scum.
-
We dont look out of place in this league and will certainly be one of the more exciting teams once Ramirez has played a few games. Our defence needs to get used to this league though. You cant blame them that much consiring who've theyve been up against over the past 2 years. Its a learning curve plus I think the new Yank goalie and Japanese captain will help. Keep the faith.
-
Ar$e. I'm taking my daughter to her first game today - the 3 points are in the bag.
-
United have been poor so far. Depends heavily on RVP for me. If he gets going, we'll lose. If not, it could be a good day for me. Lets play our new Jap defender and tell him to take of RVP.

he cut his nose off there saying he wont go down to the champs

Billy Sharp - Joins Notts Forest on Season Long Loan

This is quite sad really. It was quality watching Sharps reactions when we got promoted. The emotions he showed after a tough year was great to see. He was so happy to be in the Prem. -
I start supporing Saints in Keegans first season. I was 7 and I thought Saints must be one of the best and bigger teams if Keegan plays for them. I think we were quite high up the table then too.
-
must have been sh1t odds. FFS one of the plusses of being in the PL is you have a genuine chance of getting to Wembley in this cup or in the FA cup (semi). Why the f are we clearly not trying.
