If they're out of the play off by 5pm, it will be a poor attendance from their point of view. A lot of them are buying tickets at the gate should they still be in with a shout.

Reasons why I think Saints will win: - Weve always done well at Boro largely because it looks just like home. - They've been terrible at home - Weve been recently good away. - They would have found out 30 mins before kick off that their play off chances are zero or next to zero. - We will tear into them as we did Posh on Tuesday. Can anyone think of any negatives because I'm becoming dangerously too confident.

I enjoyed rolling back the years on the terrace but do remember why we changed to all seater. Whenever there was a corner at our end you couldnt really see what was going on and for our third goal I saw the ball run to BS but didnt see it actually go in the net. Also, after our first goal some bloke got really upset that he had been barged over and started punching this other bloke.

If they win the league by 3 points, thats 3 points, not a long long way. If they draw at Brum it could only be by 1 point.
-
According to SSN yesterday morning loads of Reading players were all battered from their celebrations and didnt turn up to training. I reckon Palace might get a draw and we could be 1 point off them meaning they need to win at Brum.

Saints / Reading / West Ham run in: Games to go . . .

If Blackpool and Cardiff win their home games and Brum draw at Brighton it will be all over for Boro. That would put Brum in 6th place and they'll be up for the Reading home game on the last day -
Does anyone know what the weather is like in Peterborough. I'm in Sussex and its hammering down. Dont want to make the treck up there only to find its off. Does their ground have proper draining etc.?

800 Peterborough tickets left, no travel coaches!!!

I'm driving from Crawley. Should be fun. -
Still confident. Even if we somehow only draw tomorrow and Wham win, it's still in our hands and there will be a super human effort for Boro. Effectively we have two bites at this and Wham have 1.

F sake. Anyone else worried about our goal difference

If we all think were gonna beat Cov on Monday then all we need to do is match what Wham do on Tuesday. Everything else is irrelivent. -
FFS everyone, buy a ticket. Lets sell this out and make the noise to get us the victory.
-
Yes bonkers. We battered Reading last night and from the word go at Palace. Change nothing. But come on people - GET YOUR TICKETS !!
-
From the word go it was obvious both these teams are destined for the Prem. It was a Premier League game with Premier League quality. Imagine this: Wham beat Brighton, we lose to Posh, Wham beat Bristol. Even then were still above Wham with 2 to go, but clearly all those things are not gonna happen. Play anything like this at Posh and Wham then need us to not beat Boro or Cov at home.

" Southampton and Reading both deserve automatic promotion"
bender replied to BrokenGusBus's topic in The Saints
In which case it still doesn't lie. The reduction in points takes care of the cheating and certain filthy football clubs are duly recorded as being relegation certs. -
If Readings performance at Brighton is anything to go by, this is on a plate for us. Brighton would have scored loads of they knew how to put the ball in the net. Hit the post 3 times and missed a pen. That said its on a plate for Reading if we play like we did against Pompey. I've got the whole day off tomorrow as I have to make the long arduous trip from Brighton.

Last team to win the Championship after promotion from League One

Has to be Plymouth surely. -
Yeah but we got given more tickets which changed the status. Clearly not possible with a home game.
-
If we dont, surely we need the support more.

From Brightons forum http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?238628-How-did-we-lose-that I really think Reading are there for the taking. Last few games: Brighton A: Totally rode their luck. It was constant Albion on the radio and they missed a pen. Leeds H: Leeds looked as much in the game as they did for most of it. Wham A: Fair enough tremendous. Posh A: Lost 3 - 1. Reading know after last nights game they can afford to lose. Even if Wham were to break a habit and win at home, they are still 3 ahead of Wham with 2 easy home games to come.

Reading have been lucky their last 2 games. It looked like they werent going to beat 10 men Leeds for most of the game and how Brighton didnt score last night is beyond me. If Brighton had had finishers like Sharp and Lambert, Reading would have lost last night.

BTW, come on people, lets sell them out !!!
