Anyone else get the feeling that we'll secure promotion when were not even playing. Before the weekend I thought Brighton would when theyre at home to Reading a week tomorrow. Now I think it will still be Brighton doing the honours but away to Wham the day after we play Reading.

FFS worry about that during May, June and July. Seriously, now that the dissapointment has died down, I'm excited at the prospect of Wham not winning at Barnsley and us going into the Pompey game knowing a win will all but secure it.

We are six point clear of Wham with a better goal difference and look at the fixtures we both have. (still a bit worried about RL though)

I disagree. The only reason top teams dont beat bottom teams is complacency. However, it's a derby so we will be up for it and our quality will shine through. There's no way Pompey will be able to hold us for 90 minutes. My only downer is that if we go 3 up or something we wont go on from that and thump them 5 or 6 nil. We will conserve energy for our game 2 days later.

Although a Wham win would cut the gap from 3rd to 5 points, I'm hoping for a Wham win. All we then need is a draw at Blackpool and we are 6 points off Reading with the Easter period to come and our fixtures over Easter are much easier than Readings. We then play Reading and even if we lose, thats still a 3 point gap with 3 to go - we should beat either Posh or Boro away and also Cov at home.

I think Wham will beat Reading which will be a massive incentive for the Blackpool game. Were gonna put our heads down and get the result we'll be in a brilliant position. Consider these results: Sat: Wham beat Reading and we beat Blackpool. Good Fri & Sat: Reading draw at home to Leeds and we beat Pompey. That would put us 10 points clear of Reading. We then win at Palace and then Brighton beat Reading the next day to send us into the Prem with 4 games to go. Party time at home to Reading.

This. We are 9 points clear of Wham and 5 of Reading and that's all that matters. After every result I look at it again a few times.

I went to Highbury when we went down. Remember being in dream land when it went from 1 - 0 to 1 - 2. Flipping RVP!! That would have kept us up.

Wham will know that even if they draw tonight, they will go 2nd by beating Reading on Saturday. I think they'll do exactly those 2 things leaving us 5 points clear of both of them. A lot of you think we wont win at Blackpool but think of the incentive - 8 points clear of both of them.

If they dont win tonight, I'll tend to agree with him, and I think by the end of the week both Wham and Reading could realise theyre battling for 2nd. Personally I think that Wham will draw tonight and put everything into Reading at home on Saturday and suddenly theyre in the auto's. What a incentive for us going into the evening game though - a win puts us 8 points clear on both of them with equal games played.

Yes Wham are gonna win their next 2 games despite not being able to win for ages and despite my Burnley mate telling me Wham were nervous and poor on Saturday. They'll draw tomorrow and beat Reading putting them 2nd and Saints 5 points clear of both of them. What an incentive for beating Blackpool - could be 8 pts clear of both with Pompey at home to come.
