  3. about what? I was responding to a post that was saying that we should be content on finishing twelfth and we are Southampton etc. sort of thing that Everton fans have been saying lately. Whilst i can see the point of realising that we are massively over achieving presently, I think any fan can still dream of bigger and better things and thankfully, at long last, Leicester City have confirmed that fact that it can happen. So whilst I don't see finishing twelfth as disastrous, given the club's policy of selling our best players year after year, I can still hope and dream of Europe and whilst we have not done a Leicester, we have done very, very well. What I don't appreciate is someone saying that i have no right of dreaming and we are just Southampton, as i said, i expect that patronisation (made up word alert) from other supporters, not our own.
  4. you are an absolute twa t aren't you, my first post for months but you're straight onto it and completely miss the point, can you quote me on anything recent about whats been happening? No, thought not, its just personal isn't it, maybe its jealousy? Jesus, you should get out more mate, rather than spend your entire life on this, it might help you integrate into society a little better.
  5. Great post, I am sure every Leicester fan should read this and complain to the club that they didn't finish where they were supposed to.
  6. we get enough money from selling players, I guess we don't need to top it up with shirt deals.
  7. tempting, especially if we go straight to the groups, who remembers Fulham?
  8. Betrand couldnt make the Chelsea team, why did we sign him? Walcott is predomintely on the bench at Arsenal, are you saying you would noyt want him. MS cant get into the Man Utd team on a regular basis....
  9. In fact, it would be good to get Chambers back, surely he is not staying at Arsenal?
  10. shocking yesterday, poor positioning, unable to clear a ball effectively. I hope that we can prioritise getting a decent RB, anyone know what the form is with the kids, any new Luke Shaws or Callum Chambers? Not sure Cedric is much better, but better he is.
  11. what about the Fair Play League? How are we doing in that this season
  12. is that the same guy who said no one was leaving the day before Lambert did? Is it the same one who said that 'contract talks with MP/Clyne were progressing..."?
  13. The best thing about MP is the fact that he promotes British players, in fact he has been instrumental in providing England (and U21) with their players, Rodrigues, lambert, Lallana, Clyne, Chambers, Shaw, JWP, Kane, Ale, Dier, Mason, Walker, Rose. Clearly they haven't all played at the same time and perhaps one or two of them were in the frame before him, but its pretty good. He also isn't afraid to trust the young kids, he believes in them (and that makes them believe in themselves) which is the one criticism that you could label at RK (as well as most of the other PL managers). And his style of football is very good and very effective. He has proved it with us and proved it even more at Spurs.
  14. what happens if Liverpool win the EP and Utd win the cup, assuming Liverpool finish above us, say 7th and we finish 8th, do we qualify then?
  15. RK doesn't give a hoot about young players, as great as a job he has done, unfortunately MP is miles ahead in terms of building a club and philosophy.
  16. do you really think the manager tells players to punch other players? Id have him back over RK anyday, he' the best manager since the early days of Mouriniho.
  17. Dont flatter yourself fella, there are plenty of other p ricks i respond to as well
  18. I like that word you use, tedious. It's quite apt.
  19. think you're taking things too seriously mate. I mean, yes its a bit 'line the pockets' event, but then what isn't? Its a show, been to the anniversary one and the MLT one too, they were okay. I only paid 20 quid for tickets at the back of the upper balcony, think 40 was a bit much. If you're that embarrassed about celebrating pretty much the only proper thing this club has won (and it really mattered back then) then perhaps you shouldn't go.
  20. Jesus, words fail me.
  21. Liverpool, you have to be joking, right? You might as well added Man Utd then and Arsenal then!
