you're right, completely forgot about City (and Sanchez), maybe Joe Hart then, Yaya (perhaps not now) as well? Though i cant believe you can count Ozil and discount Coutinho.

I'm neither glad he left or disappointed that he is not here. Clearly the club has moved in a different direction which is perhaps not as ambitious short term but more stable (though the owner is worth a reported £4 Billion, so it would take a hell of a lot to make us unstable, basically her walking out) long term. Its great to see the likes of Matt back at the club but at the same time all we ever heard was his and Franny's side of the story, Cortese always kept a dignified silence on the matter, so who knows the truth? I think Cortese would have got us into the top four but obviously it wasn't his money. At the same time, if Kat was signing it off then so what? Clearly she didn't want to do that any longer (or had the power to pull the rug out from beneath him) and despite early indications that she was in for a fire sale, that doesn't seem to be the case. But I still think that we were motoring somewhere under Cortese and now we are just plain sailing, fine while the wind is with us.

like. Anyone would think we all get a share of the bloody money. On another note, you seriously don't think Mane is world class do you? I understand some on here thought that 'whathisname' that was on loan last season was world class, which was frankly a joke, and though clearly Mane is so much better than him, world class? World Class = being able to get in any team in the world, club and country. Hard pressed to think of any playing in this country presently tbh, maybe the Chelsea keeper Cortoius (i know that is the wrong spelling), Courtinio perhaps (but needs to show a bit more), struggling really, Steven Davis anyone?

Good answer mate, clearly the question was aimed at the guy who said "I'm glad he left", just wanted him to say why, because some people on here just have a personal vendetta based on his height or previous links to jobs, pathetic really, they just keep playing the same boring, monotonous tune over and over again. I would also defend his 'football' legacy, he got us to the PL and he had a certain vision, in particular about playing the kids, i think that was a very proactive agenda and it is one of the things that seems to be lost presently and that's a shame, but hey, its not all bad is it.

why, what went wrong under Cortese?

Nicola Cortese - came, saw and conquered

The worst diversion ever. Did anyone carry on past the Milton Park thing to catch the A34 down the road, thinking it was straightforward diversion? If I had known it was via Wantage then I would have gone via Reading. Absolute joke! Still not entirely sure what the actual diversion route was from the Didcot roundabout.

My kid actually, and he said he was going to ask this when we were driving to SMS. I said it wasn't really the sort of questions that they would be looking for but he asked it anyway, got a good laugh and to be fair to Ron he answered by naming the two captains! To be fair, it turned out to be a more interesting question than a lot if the others. Thougt Ralph was just so ****ing corporate, Ron didn't want to be there and Les was probably wishing Cortese was still around so he didn't have to answer to a room of people like me..
-
What is the criteria for asking questions then? I thought previously that they were submitted beforehand, a bit like Question Time , Adam Blackmore saying "and our next question is from someone called Alpine Saint...." but is going to be a hands in the air, "please sir" session. So who is going by the way? Be good to know that people like 9.3 are in the room, personally will be looking out for Avenue Saint, Whelk and obviously Turkey Boy/CB Fry, who will be either the same person in their Stone Island sweater and Burberry cap or perhaps just joined at the hip. I'll be coming disguised as a Syrian refugee if anyone wants a free hit.

when did we sign Raheem, is he injured?
-
After reading all that, he comes across like the Kaiser Sose of th football world, you can just imagine him limping away from the old Dell car park.
-
Me too, but what was Souness doing with him in training ?
-
Whilst some people reasonably debate his value (or not) to the club over the last few years, you come up with this i guess Turkey Boy will be in here soon asking why he is not at AC Milan
-
I see we have the most expensive programme in the EPL.
-
well that says it all then, might as well join the rest and get kids' tickets and hope the TO don't spot it because it seems clear that they do not have a fix, just a random check.
-
exactly what they told me today, so the STH's get stuffed and the general sale buyers get better seats, you couldn't make it up!
-
Also, I went online on Friday and saw that there were only restricted view tickets on sale in blocks 121 and 122 left. Thinking that they were going to sell out I grabbed two, even though it is a ridiculous view as I had the same seats last year! But now they have opened another block, 123 and they have normal seats for sale on a general sale, how the f uck does that favour ST holders? I am trying to get through on the 0845 number and get them swapped but I am not hopeful.
-
ok, that's a plan for next year then, doesn't help my away games' allocation for this year though. Anyone know the Ticket Office Manager's name please??
-
If I buy a kids ST next year, can I pay extra tonupgradevto an adult ticket on a match by match basis? effectively the club will be losing out on extra revenue, only in football eh, do they make it difficult to do the right thing.
-
surely it's up to the likes of Wigan or Liverpool etc. To turn people away who have the wrong tickets.
-
No mate, online, but got the kids ticket for Chelsea. If what you say is right then don't know why it gives an option to buy another ticket type against your number. They clearly haven't put a check in place but relying on catching the odd one or two here and there perhaps. You'd think it would be straight forward to set that up online.
