  1. Yea it was, and he is, is he not? The 9's point was his injury isnt because he's injury prone. I know that, he has that injury because someone ploughed into him, but it was Luke Shaw. Regardless of the injuries, unconnected of course, its always Luke Shaw, like Dyer, like Wiltshire, like Walcott too maybe, its strange how some players are always the one that cop it. I bet if Luke had stayed at Southampton, he'd be injured now.
  2. and LOL at someone who doesnt understand the point. This forum makes me laugh.
  3. does that apply to Kieran Dyer and Jack Wiltshire? Whether related or not, it seems to happen to certain players, and I thinkl, unfortunately, Luke is one of them.
  4. but it was him, which is my point.
  5. Dont know if you are being ironic or not, but the cost would be left with us, think we are saying that the cost 'for the Chelsea game'.......
  6. Dodged a bullet with Luke and got paid 27million for doing so, though would struggle to see us get a return on any appearance add-ons. Think he is a truly fantastic player but very, very injury prone, he used to miss games for us with a cold! It's funny how some players are just so sucepitable to injuries..
  7. I know you are 'trying' to be funny, but it ain't working mate, just like your Chelsea post, #tiresome
  8. Dont think Nigel is too bothered about Cortese sacking him, that's football and he knows that. You could see after the Cov game, he knew his time was up sooner or later. at the end of the day Cortese made the right call, I didn't like the way Nigel was omitted in the programmes etc. thought was disgusting and along with Dean Richards silence , two things that Cortese was very wrong about. But we wouldn't have finished 8th under Nigel, his tactics etc. in the PL wee already proved dodgy, Man Utd at home for example. saying all that, Nigel Adkins, legend and very nice bloke.
  9. I remember that game, it was a Friday night I think? Reading had won something like 102 matches on the bounce, it was a title decider effectively. We lost, don't remember it being a bad display except defensively, didn't Jose mess up for their late winner? Anyway, the point being, who the f uck cares that we didn't win the Div1 and The Championship? Look where we are now compared to reading and brighton. "when truly tested we looked awful".... but better than 99% of the other teams in this divisions and to answer your other question, Lallana, Lambert, Fonte, Yoshida, Shaw (? did he play in the championship?), Morgan, sure I have missed one or two perhaps, but jesus, you are a clown mate.
  10. And point me in the direction of that comment from you before we signed him....
  11. It wasn't a valid or worthwhile question though was it
  12. Remind me how pages of pre signing euphoria and meltdown did we have when we were signing him? He didn't work out, just like Salgado and Lamela and Balotelli and plenty of others. Jesus, what club has not wasted big money on one or two players in their time? Get over it FFS
  13. What like Lambert and Fonte and Wanyama and Davis and Rodrigues and Sharp and Loven and......
  14. still a few left, make sure you decrease the seat selection on the view button, otherwise it looks like there is nothing left, but there is a block to the right. Though it took me about 4 or 5 seat selections to find one that it would let me buy, even though they were in green, perhaps people buying the seat at the same time?
  15. Thanks guys
  16. anyone know of any around this area, does the George in Fair Oak show BT Sport games? Many thanks
  17. thought a few pubs streamed the game to big tv etc?
  18. Anyone can tell me where to catch the game today in town centre please? It's not in Sky I guess. thanks
  19. Jack Cork would have been good.
  20. Anyone get a box come up suggesting Tapatalk every time you try and open this site? Only seems to be on my iPad, have the app in cloud but not actually on the device. It's starting to become annoying now, appreciate advice given. Thanks
  21. i think the point is also about the replacements. its all very well losing players to bigger clubs, inevitable for us, there is no doubt about that, just as we bought the likes of lambert and fonte when we div 1. But it's what we are bringing in and though RK might not fancy Charlie Austin, for example, Palace have just bought Cabaye. Yes, people are going to come on here and say this and that about him, but he was ficking class for Newcastle and i would have though a good replacement for Morgan (not as good though). Just seems like we 'are' trying to make a decent profit on transfers.
  22. lol, i'd forgotten about you. You must be looking forward to the summer holidays, when is it you break up?
  23. fine, but dont give us the BS about Clyne might be staying...
  24. surprising statistics, how do they compare in terms of minutes played on the previous season? Clearly we have sold Shaw and Chambers, so maybe a bit misleading, but just feel that the emphasis has gone a bit.
  25. we're a selling club, like just about everyone else aside from Madrid and Barca, and if we get a good enough offer, anyone can go. What was all that crap about Clyne staying? Did you actually buy that from Reed a couple of months ago?
