For his actions towards the stewards he deserves his ban for being a prat. But what I dont understand is the purpose of the ban on drinking alcohol in the stands rule ? I mean its not to stop fans getting drunk at matches because the club sell it in the concourses ? So its ok to drink in the concourse but not the stands ? If the beer was served in plastic cups, what difference does it make if you drink it in the concourse or in your seat ? I just dont get it.
