  1. Me also and for the same reason.
  2. Personally, I would want out strongest team available against Brighton as we are more likely to get points in that game and because it is a more significant game in that we don't want to lose to them and let them close the gap. So, if anyone is being nursed back to fitness then I'd leave them out against Man City rather than the other way around, giving them a decent 7-day gap since their last match.
  3. That's what we need to toughen them up 😅
  4. Agreed. Caleb Watts looked very good also, bright, busy and tidy. Both looked as if they might be able to make that huge step up.
  5. Magnificent team performance, with everyone playing their part and giving 100%. Great collective defence led from the front and always dangerous on the break. Diallo's best performance yet for Saints and demonstrated tonight why Ralf has claimed that he is the future of Saints. JWP and Ings pure inspiration for the world class goal. KWP was excellent against Mane. Ralf's pure, uncontrolled show of passion at the end was the icing on the cake. Happy New Year Saints ... you have lit up a gloomy day.
  6. That’s the spirit
  7. very good summary

  11. It is a fair question, a big factor as with any purchase will be the sale price.

    Diallo

Agreed. I really liked the fact that he was demanding the ball from the moment he came on the pitch and was then looking for the forward pass rather than the 5 yard sideways pass. That is especially impressive on your first match for a club with new teammates. It suggests someone who not only has confidence but also wants to be a starting player not just a squad player. High hopes for him and wish him the best of luck.
  13. I agree
