Nonsense. Labour decided to give the Scots more management of the farm. Cameron, in his arrogance, decided to bet the farm...
-
Yeah, I'm sure that when Queenie looks at her depleted rUK, it'll be Miliband she's blaming, not David Cameron and his píss-poor attempt at a Falklands moment.

Ah, the gentle innocence of the seven month old poster.

Cameron's played this disastrously, imo. All along, the Nats wanted the 3rd option of Devo Max on the ballot. It's pretty much the least they'll get now. Who knows what will be offered as the week rolls on? Devolution has been a great deal for the Scots, and it looks like Salmond and the Scots now wins whatever happens. It's why I made my cheeky comment about England seeking independence

Yes, and in case anyone was in any doubt after your recent go at doing non-angry (you performing seal, you!), here is a fantastic resource to help them out. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/member.php?1138-CB-Fry Well played bletch. I think you elicited shame there.

Can we vote to take England away from British control? They're throwing the kitchen sink at the Scots to keep them in.

David Cameron is betting 40% of the country and territorial integrity that it won't happen.

Desperate throw of the dice from Osborne? I suspect "in the tank" all along. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-29099431 Details on more powers for Scotland (if they say no) to be released within days. Evidence of Tories overestimating themselves, or the final thing they need to get them over the line?

Excellent find, Grey Crab. Liked this bit in particular.

Shít is getting interesting. Shock poll puts the "yes" camp in the lead. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/scottish-independence/scottish-independence-yes-vote-takes-shock-lead-in-poll-for-first-time-9716619.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/scottish-independence/11079797/Poll-puts-Scottish-independence-campaign-ahead-for-first-time.html Scotland the brave?

Danny Trejo is awesome. He'll star in anything and I don't begrudge him for it (Death Race sequels, I'm looking at you). Whereas when Bruce "where's my cheque?" Willis does it, it annoys me. Strange.

Got a brace today for Yeovil in their unexpected 3-1 away win at Bradford.

Good piece on Wayne Rooney here. Harsh but fair. http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/sep/05/wayne-rooney-england-captain

Machete Kills is excellent. Finished watching it last night, and it does exactly what it sets out to do, which is to be an over-the-top stupid action gorefest. I reckon you're doing it a disservice by referring to it as crap. I reckon it's perfect for what it is. Just don't go in expecting any sort of subtlety. I also watched a film called Bounty Killers, which is a post apocalyptic romp about vigilantes serving death warrants on corporate criminals. Netflix has it at 3 1/2 stars out of 5, which I reckon is maybe a little generous. The comic relief is pants, but I found the female lead engaging.

Had a few laughs at this myself. Gotta credit the chaps; these pranks were beautifully elaborate

Richard Hall has released a series of films on the McCanns in the last few weeks. There is about four hours of material in all, and he doesn't get around to covering half the inconsistencies. Part three is of particular interest, covering the various detective agencies hired to get results. Unfailingly bent, and no history of ever recovering missing children. There's an in-depth look at one of the most important events in the timeline; the alleged 6:30pm sighting of Madeleine by David Payne, the last time anyone other than the McCanns is reported to have seen Madeleine alive. Special attention is also given to Clarence Mitchell, the media spinner that was assigned to the McCanns within days of the disappearance. I've seen all four; the embedded vid stitches them together. No real expectation that loads will settle in to watch this, but if you have had an interest in the case before, I'd say this is well worth your time, all 4h and 10min of it.

Talking Tactics: Koeman gives Saints fans reasons to be cheerful

Agreed. The long ball stat is a misleading one; I don't know why hoofs aren't tracked as a separate category. Probably to keep West Ham looking halfway respectable -
I've used teenage inspiration, syllables and spreadsheets to come up with my song. To be sung whenever Toby frustrates an attacker, in the tune of Killing in The Name Of by Rage Against The Machine. "Fúck off says Toby Alderweireld" Pronunciation guide:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m02fOy4E5z0

What I'd like to know is how Jamie's love of breading began.

Think the last comeback game before the West Ham game was the Villa 4-1 game under Adkins. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19615244 Might be wrong though. -

A big part of our goal-scoring threat under Poch was capitalising on errors. The high press was about creating those errors in areas that mattered. As you point out, not much of an opportunity to do that when there are ten men behind the ball happy to concede possession and hoof it upfield. -
You chaps not seeing an obvious problem here?
