  1. Or don't. Seriously, Flappy f**king Bird and derivatives? If you are playing this, you need a f**king life or some f**king taste. I say this as a hardcore gamer.
  2. I did think that I may have mixed myself and one of my regular feuders up.
  3. I reckon this is me.
  4. So bletch, are you making HTTP get requests through some kind of web client and scraping the results, or are you able to use a direct source ( XML etc )?
  5. Thought he was good on Tuesday, although don't know whether that was just because he came on as a sub. Seemed to want everything. His desire to stay or find a new contract elsewhere could help us in the coming months.
  6. I knew a chap at Southampton Tech who was famous for carrying a picture of his sister around and saying it was his girlfriend.
  7. Also, how big is "girlfriend" when you do hypo's?
  8. You can't leave that there, bletch
  9. I agree that he has done well with Hull. Same points as us at this point last season; the league's just a bit kinder. Still, 27 points and out of the relegation zone isn't bad. Hull are just a bit further up on the basis of everyone else being a bit further down. Is he a winner, though?
  10. A very scary question; is Guly the Wanyama of the final third? Seemed to be onto everything when he came on tonight.
  11. I got to see most of the second half. What an entertaining game. I think that many of us are starting to take this for granted now, but the passing, movement and understanding is normally good, and sometimes superb, as it was tonight. Hull's only answer seemed to lie in George Boyd trying to wind Chambers up after a trick-gone-wrong led to a Hull throw. The corner that led to the goal should never have been given, and I'm convinced it was because the ref was as impressed as I was with Chamber's tenacity in the "f*ck off, I'm having it" double header Other highlights; Elmohamady trying to bum Luke Shaw and then trying to get Luke Shaw booked. Not conceding and finishing the game strongly was very nice too. The draws from winning positions have been Saints-of-old stuff - not necessarily in a good way. Still, the football mullering we seem to hand out to teams on occasion is Saints-of-old stuff too, and while this was no means that, I think 2-0 might have been a fairer reflection of the team's effort. Good away win all the same.
  12. Makes a change from the SAS dressing up as Iraqis going around and planting "insurgent" bombs. Wrapped up neatly too. We presumably won't have to drive over a police station with a tank to rescue anyone either.
  13. Europe's elite = no.
  14. Bletch - can you run dune's old posts please?
  15. I think I'm going to meet KRG and SuperMikey (bird permitting) at Glasto.
  16. Easy peasy. Your tech arch nemesis Essruu.
  17. My only problem is that hypo's sage advice on women has ceased. I was hoping to learn all sorts of things from a man of the world like our health-fearin' fellow poster. Tips from the pro, if you will.
  18. I was confusing the part where you were able to comment on a large percentage of women with first-hand knowledge.
  19. Glad we have such an expert on women to explain things for us.
  20. In news just in from neutral Switzerland, 50.3% of the voting public have decided they'd like to introduce quotas for EU citizens. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/switzerland-votes-to-limit-numbers-of-eu-migrants-9117579.html The Swiss aren't members of the EU, which is why they can have this vote in the first place, but they've been good enough to sign up for various principles that the rest of the EU follow, the free movement of people being among them. No more. Does this have implications for the EU project itself, or does the Swiss non-membership make the referendum result a non-event?
  21. Started watching Apparitions with my mum last night. It's on US Netflix. Martin Shaw plays an exorcist in the Catholic church and uncovers evidence of a Satanic plot. I'm not very religious myself, but I do love to see it in fiction; The Omen is one of my all time favourite horror films. This has a similar vibe about it. Will probs watch the rest.
  22. Itchen North was a lot of fun. Some good banter with the Stoke lads. Due to the usual gap between Northam fans and the away lot, think it's the place to be. Sorry for not making our clandestine meeting; went with my bro and time worked against us.
  23. Itchen North for me today. COYR.
