  1. trousers to eat a baby by day's end and claim Labour made him do it.
  2. Nope. It just means that the policies were fiscally handy, yet could be blamed on someone else.
  3. Depends on the person, I'm told
  4. The Irish would probably disagree with their wakes, n all.
  5. I was at school during that change. I never actually got to be a fifth year. Went from the 3rd year to the 10th year in one year.
  6. Yeah, was a good night. You should probably know that I have no shame when it comes to stuff like this. If you want a better rise than this, I'd suggest going to the bakers or downing some Viagra.
  7. I think a large part of it is. I'd like the opinions of some old timers on this one. Were the Conservatives ever called the Nasty Party before she took charge?
  8. Funnily enough, no. tbh mate, secondary school was not a girl-filled experience for me. When I started, loads of girls went out with the 5th years ( note 11th year in new money, Operation Yewtree ). When I finished, those same girls were going out with 19 year old nob jockeys who owned Ford Cortinas. I did of course, have the option to do what those 5th years did in my last year and start going out with 12 year olds, but what self-respecting sixteen year old does that? Paedos.
  9. C'mon mate - don't insult the collective intelligence of people reading this thread. The association with Adams is an under the radar dis'. We're all big boys here. Speak plainly.
  10. Uncharacteristically dishonest debating tactic for yourself, trousers - but not for your ilk.
  11. I was fifteen. We got our mate with the deepest voice to buy some beer, as per. Would have got more if Major hadn't succeeded her.
  12. Completely agree. I celebrated the moment she was turfed out of office.
  13. She set the police onto its own citizens. She set the British people onto each other, the results of which are still visible today. She created and us vs them mentality, a look after yourself mentality and shut down the North of England. She will not be missed by me.
  14. Bassett Green and Cantell, mate. I remember a bit of bother when the Deanery got merged into our school, but not much of that other stuff went on.

    Anticlimatic?

Not really. I've mentioned this several times, but our placement this year is hugely important for next season's campaign. We cannot begin next season billed as relegation candidates if we want to attract good players on good terms.
  16. Small point of correction, Mr Bear. I said you'd find it mildly arousing, not me. Plus I should probably point out I have no plans to incinerate Chinese people.
  17. Quite right. Do you have an alternate term for that playground pastime? I really want to reform.
  18. CB Fry's power isn't what it once was, Bear. I'd imagine that any fatwa issued on your good person will be a mildly arousing chinese burn when it is administered.
  19. I wouldn't bother if I was him. He could stand outside West Quay with a giant religious hatred placard on a Saturday afternoon and he'd reach more people.
  20. I think you should take the opportunity to quiz them on my behalf, btw.
  21. Blimey. 16K registered users for all of football? You can fit more people in Loftus Road.
  22. Can you ask your bumchums over at not606 how it is that I've been banned without ever posting?
  23. I've seen my team relegated twice. It isn't a laughing matter, but it isn't the end of the world either, and certainly not on a par with chuckling away while a kid drowns, or even a bit like it. If relegation is so bad, perhaps we should ban it altogether so no-one gets upset.
  24. I'm very happy with the first XI at the moment, but would like to see a replacement for Jos. Really not sure on him at this level. With some different reffing decisions yesterday, we could have been down to ten men or at the very least, conceded more free kicks in dangerous errors. I also got to see one of his 3 own goals up close and personal this year. Like Dr Kucho, I commend him for his work in the Championship - but barring some massive up-tick in form, think we can do a lot better. Michu has been fantastic for Swansea this year, so while it's a little facile to ask for a Michu-type player, the attribute I perhaps most admire is his long shooting. Don't know if we need a new player for this, or just more practice from our existing stock - but a team that has this in its locker can kill games stone dead or conjure victory from nothing. I refer the HCDAJFU committee to the cases of Lampard breaking oppo's hearts, or indeed, that Matthew Lowton wonder-strike that secured Villa the points yesterday. Goalie; happy with Boruc - sign him up, I reckon. If we survive, I think we can expect as much ruthlessness with player decisions as we have been with managerial ones. I think we'll set our sights slightly higher than finding better players than De Ridder. We'll be going after better players than Lallana.
  25. Then why even bother with relegation my Danish friend? It's part and parcel of our footballing culture. It's what separates us from the beasts in the MLS, where the only requirement to be a team in the top tier is a big pile of cash.
