What's the time, Mr Wolf? Is there anybody in there? Why do most people walk on the right on the Millennium Bridge?

Welcome Nigel, good luck to you. Any chance we can have one of those honeymoon period type things other clubs always have when they get a new manager?!
-
We don't, but I'm sorely inclined to lean towards believing the chairman who maintained a dignified silence throughout the process of recruiting a new manager, over the one who went public with information which, even if true, was of very little interest or benefit to anyone...

At this rate, I'll have to apply again, and hope for more success than when I tried to poach the job from Stuart Gray. I wonder if Nicola will send me a rejection letter like Rupert did?!

A good second choice, after trying and failing to get O'Neil..!!

FFS! I was just about to get back to some much needed sleep, then spotted this!! Surprised by the timing, and (based on what I see as a fan, not as Pardew's employer) that it's been done at all. Wait and see who comes in I suppose. Statement read to me like there's a name, or names, already in the frame. Hope they can gee the team up to get a bit of momentum going after a slow(ish) start.

Cup win 76 - Wasn't born until '78 Keegan signed - As per above, I'm too young to remember that one! Saints put the sixth past Man Utd - Listening on the radio in Gateley Hall on Archer's Rd, screaming. LeTiss last goal at the Dell - Just out from having a tattoo done in Brighton, periodically checking the scores on my phone. Well chuffed, if a little sore. St Marcus passes away - Checking footy news on my iPhone on the train home from work. Saw the "Markus Liebherr of Southampton Football Club" headline on Newsnow and clicked through expecting some sort of feature on the saviour of SFC. Wish it had been. Special moments - Franny's goal, sat in the West Stand, Milton End, telling my brother it was pointless Franny coming up for a free kick because he'd never scored! The Great Escape win over Everton - had to pay £60 for a ticket in the Archer's, best £60 I've ever spent. JPT Final, obviously, only time (so far) I've seen us win a trophy. FA Cup final at Cardiff vs The Arse - true pride in defeat, moved me to tears that day. Matty's testimonial (Simply the best), last Dell game v Brighton ("stand up if you've got your seat!" Still got two of 'em, one red one white! First ever match Boxing Day '91 2-1 win over Man Citeh courtesy of Matty and Barry Horne. Pahars v Pompey from the comfort of the Northam. 4-1 walloping of Spurs in the FA Cup. All of them special memories of many SFC related. God, I love the Saints!!
