From 1 week to 4-5 weeks to 6-8 weeks. FFS. We really need to get another CB in, even if just on loan. Haven't we had the worst luck with injuries this season? It's been a joke. Edit - even more so now if the 'serious facial injuries' to Fonte are true.

So misses 4 league games. Apart from Arsenal all very winnable, unless Fonte gets injured as well. We really have had the worst luck with injuries.

Wasn't it said on this thread that lovrens leg is fine and he will be back soon. Hopefully soon means next week!

He's a great keeper but we definately need much better back up as competition. I think if we had a better back up keeper than Davis then Boruc would not be back playing yet. He's probably been rushed back too quickly but he's by far the best we've got.

I am actually a bit worried about next season already. Really hope we can sort out whether the club is being sold or not quickly. If it's to be sold then I hope this sale happens before the end of the season otherwise what happens to new signings in the summer? And the manager and current players? Obviously still a long way off but worrying all the same. Unless of course Cortese comes back with a buyer.

Really think the loan system needs an overhaul. PL clubs shouldn't be able to loan to other PL clubs. Having said that we may now need to strengthen with these injuries and I could only see us getting loans in considering our long term future is unknown.

It would. We need to at least aim for top half finish. I'm not sure we will achieve that if Lovren is out for a long time and we don't bring anyone else in.

And, although terrible for Ramirez as he was starting to play well, that could have been Lallana on the end of that challenge. Need Wanyama back, but without Lovren we will still be weak at the back.

Yoshida now needs to step up. Fonte and Yoshida were becoming a good partnership last season until fonte got injured. Still no where as good as fonte/lovren though. A shame but I really think tho season will just fizzle out now.

Remember some fans falling down the stairs between block 41-42 fighting. That was probably the lowest point, knowing it was going to get worse before it got better. Incredible really how far we've come, but at the same time very sad that again we don't know our long term future.

There are no plans, meaning if no one wants to leave they won't be sold? If a player wants to desperately leave there's not a lot we can do to stop them is there?

The manager said he is staying and the owner said there are no plans to sell anyone. Wasn't this exactly what we wanted to know in the short term? They have answered the tabloid scare stories from yesterday. Of course we don't know the long term plans but what else can be said at this early stage? Maybe even she doesn't know the long term plans and these need to be discussed in the next few weeks.

Also do the press actually know we willing to sell all our players? Where would this have come from?
