What the hell is Bazunu doing?
-
Coventry currently playing with 9 men. Saints still don't look like scoring.
-
If they had Bazunu in goal Saints would have a comfortable lead by now.
-
I'm still expecting Saints to lose this.
-
Great cross from Fellows but nobody in the box to put it in the net. Saints need to get more bodies in attacking areas.
-
If Saints finishing were better this game would be over already.
-
1-1. Coventry defence very beatable here.
-
No need for five at the back now. Question is, does Eckert have what it takes?
-
Red card for DaSilva. Dreadful tackle.
-
Just seen that goal again. Manning might as well be sitting in the stands for all that he's doing on the pitch. Switch Welington to the left, get Fellows on and try attacking their dodgy looking defence.
-
Looks like Leo was fouled just before half time there. Ref never going to give a penalty though.
-
Can't keep a clean sheet again but we've seen that the Coventry defence is vulnerable if Saints can ever bother to attack.
-
All comes from Manning panicking and giving it away when he had plenty of time.
-
Easy cross into the box. Header. 0-1.
-
Scienza being kicked all over the place as usual.
-
Saints defending at corners is anything is terrifying.
-
Manning with acres to run into so her turns round and passes back. Frustrating.
-
Coventry have a decent 'keeper. Saves well from Leo.
-
ArmA through on goal. Misses badly.
-
Coventry pressing well against Saints fannying around at the back. Saints yet to get within 30 yards of the Coventry goal.
-
Letting the ball bounce in our own penalty area 🫣. Get it sorted Saints.
-
Saints porous defence is what worries me. Not sure we can outscore Coventry today and the rest of the season doesn't look all that good if we keep conceding the way we are.
-
Opponents have sussed Saints Plan A out now. Even Norwich were all over us once they'd managed to implement their pressing plan. Yesterday's 2nd half indicated that there is no Plan B beyond passing the ball around our own penalty area and then lumping it to nobody. Coventry will likely have a fairly easy trip to St Mary's on Saturday.
-
If Armstrong had been watching he'd have seen the keeper leaning to his left in his run up. A decent penalty taker can adjust quickly and slot it in the other side.
-
Another 20 points should see us safe from relegation.
