  1. Amazing to see crosses into the box leading to goals. If only we could get Saints players to do so more often when in attacking wide areas.
  2. The Martin mentality is too far entrenched in some players. First thought is always to make an easy pass backwards, attack at walking pace and refuse to cross the ball when in attacking areas. There are some signs that it's being knocked out of them but it'll take an exorcism probably. Trouble is there's now a losing mentality at the club.
  3. Thought the defender might have flicked it on but he missed it.
  4. It's going to be wiped off isn't it?
  5. Saints passing is poor at best.
  6. Fernandes looks knackered.
  7. Newcastle break quickly with millions of runners. Saints escape.
  8. Bree actually beats his man and looks forward. Screws it up though.
  9. That fanny around ghost of Martin still hangs across the team. Need an exorcist for sure.
  10. Any opponent can guarantee that Saints will donate the ball to them. All they have to do is wait.
  11. Oh well. Saints press carved open. 1-3.
  12. Saints corners starting to look dangerous at last.
  13. Game underway. Tall Paul gets kicked but no yellow card for some reason.
  14. I take it as a plus that Saints didn't totally capitulate. Some fight there but I want to see more balls played into the penalty area once we reach the attacking third.
  15. Why not cross into the box when in wide attacking areas?
  16. So simple to play through Saints midfield and defence. 1-2.
  17. This is normally where Saints heads drop.
  18. Penalty I reckon.
  19. Having Tall Paul lurking up front allowed Bedders to have some free space.
  20. Onuachu putting himself about.
  21. Another opponent that just looks a lot fitter
  22. One way traffic.
  23. Marginally more atrocious than Armstrong who at least got in a position to miss his kick from about two yards
  24. Will be lucky to grab a point today.
