Good to see Saints moving the ball quickly from defence to attack. Caught Charlton by surprise that we didn't pass it slowly around at the back to allow them to get back into position.
Those two wins consisted of a backs to the wall siege against the mighty QPR and a couple of scratchy goals against bottom of the league Wednesday. I'm really not convinced but if the bloke wins the next 3 then I'll eat humble pie. Otherwise St Mary's will not be a pleasant place to be.
The number of crosses that Saints allow the opposition is something that the new manager is going to have to address. Myself, I'd go 4 at the back with the full backs told that their job is to stop bloody crosses, especially with Bazunu in goal.
We'd be better with two wide full backs, two central defenders and an extra man in midfield. Wednesday strolling into acres of space must fancy their chances.
