So much space for Millwall to attack down their right. Another unchallenged cross comes in but shot straight at Baz.

If not a must-win game I'd suggest that is certainly a must-not-lose encounter. To be 10 points behind Millwall in the play-off positions at this stage of the season would make any thoughts of promotion this season almost a forlorn hope. Not impossible of course but given Saints mixed form I'd say improbable.

Half the season has gone and Saints are halfway up the table. That's counting and there's little evidence that anything much will change even with blind hope.

11 points off the promotion places and 10 points clear of relegation. Mid-table finish pretty much nailed on.

Lots of possession towards the end there but hardly any balls or attackers in the opponent penalty area. At some stage Saints are going to have to come up with a more attacking line up.

I think there's enough in the Saints side to avoid relegation but we're never going to get near the play-offs.

Brum always look to break forward when we give up possession. Saints always look for the safe pass backwards which ends up not being safe at all. Can only hope the plan is to win the 2nd half for a change now. I'd be looking to get Wood off (on a yellow), introduce Scienza and play with an extra man in midfield. It's time to actually go for the points or it'll be mid table anonymity this season.
