Yet again a good attacking situation ends in a panic pass to nowhere.

Bournemouth hardly having to break into a sweat.

Good grief! Defensive shambles again.

Gave the ball away cheaply in midfield again and now defending another corner.

Pretty shocking as an attacking force too.

VAR is our best defender.

As I said. Gave that away in midfield and the defence was just bypassed.

Not good is it? Our defence is a shambles.

He'll be fine. Snatched at his good chance because he's feeling the pressure. He's been up against quality defences so far. The goals will come.

Well earned point. Could well have won that with 11 men.

Our passing is abysmal.

Saints have managed to get into some reasonable attacking positions but it's as if some sort of panic takes over when calmness of thought and a modicum of skill is required.

Important that we don't concede another on the stroke of half time. Or at any time really

Well we looked ok for the first 5 minutes or so. Since then we've been pretty much overrun.

A welcome 3 points but that was not a very good performance. A moment of pace and magic was the highlight but let's not gloss over the fact that Saints were ponderous and fortunate not to be playing against 11. Defence always looked like it was about to concede as usual. Even so, let's hope that is a confidence boost.

Saints plan is obviously to hang on to 1-0 against 10 men. With our defence that's very dodgy.
