Good corner routine from Saints. Get it on target next time.

Wolves can now happily sit back and let Saints pass the ball around in their own half and just wait for them to give it away.

Normal service has resumed.

If Wolves have done their homework they'll be looking to swing free-kicks and corners into the Saints penalty area at every opportunity. If there's one thing that was still obvious from last weekend against Everton it's that Saints still can't defend set pieces. I expect normal service to resume this afternoon and would be happy to get out with a point.

My congratulations to THB. Hopefully he'll return to Saints training ground with some ideas for Martin on how to defend set pieces.

Thought Everton were poor for much of that game but easily kept Saints at arms length. Yet again Saints seemed to run out of puff and our opponents recognised it was time to step things up a bit. For the last 15 minutes or so Everton could have won that game at a canter but today the luck was with Saints. With that first win I'm hoping Saints can relax a bit and that RM can be somewhat more pragmatic with the "process".

RM will want to know why his players ignored his instructions and broke quickly upfield to score right after Everton hit the bar.

Three points!! I suppose it had to come with several doses of luck.
