  1. Well it's definitely a different style of football. Hardly a sideways pass to be seen.
  2. Important to keep 11 on the pitch. I reckon there's at least one more red in the ref's locker yet.
  3. What was Lemina's second yellow given for? Missed it.
  4. I'm all for a bit of aggression but let's try and keep 11 on the pitch shall we.
  5. Stupid yellow by JWP there. Ref will be looking to even up numbers.
  6. Saints starting on the back foot.
  7. That's a brave line-up. 😬
  8. You'll have to explain.
  9. I just want to get back to the actual football. The hatred and conflict surrounding Saints at the moment is doing my head in. Maybe it's a sign of old age but if I were still able to take to me seat on Saturday then I'd be fully behind the team even if I thought they were crap.
  10. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/feb/09/nathan-jones-southampton-fans-manager-analysis "Nathan Jones his own worst enemy with time running out at Southampton".

In summary then, we're going down and Jones is the man to complete the journey?
  12. Was that really eight years ago? Seems almost like yesterday. Time flies so quick these days.
  13. I'm starting to think that SR are already resigned to relegation. Either that or intervention by the hand of god.
  14. I can only imagine that SR are excited to see what brilliance an off-the-leash Nathan Jones team will produce on the pitch this Saturday. 😬
  15. There's no way that Jones can be in charge of the team on Saturday. That would be crazy.
  16. I'd welcome a manager that told all who would listen that they laugh in the face of xG and all its weird family of stats.
  17. Forest / Leeds all a bit park-style kick and rush. Wouldn't fancy fragile Saints against either of them mind.
  18. I've just reminded myself that Saints drastic drop off in form coincides almost exactly with when SR took over. Things could be worse than we think.
  19. NJ has surely managed to burn any bridges, boats or any other flammable objects now. The only thing left is our football club. I was naive enough to believe in giving the guy a chance but last night's behaviour brought the house down. That's just a sackable offence. Get rid today and pray that someone can give us a chance for the rest of this miserable season.
  20. NJ throwing blame around the place. This could get ugly.
  21. I'm all for giving a bloke a chance but I cannot defend Jones after that latest gutless performance. What a state the club are in. Where to go from here?
  22. Should've sacked Ralph in the summer.
  23. Well they've both had efforts on target so that's a bonus.
  24. We look absolutely clueless.
  25. Should be able to relax into the certainty of relegation by Easter at this rate.
