Just watched the FLS and in. 10 minutes of highlights there was not one single highlight that was a piece of attacking play by Brighton as far as I can remember. The 'I had you in my pocket ' gestures from that twonk were hilarious

i think they were axed in our period of austerity measures along with the radio station

If we have the ambition and financial backing that many have alluded to and the ambition is actually to compete in the PL then I will very much look forward to it. For so many years when we were there all we realistically wanted each season was survival, which was grim and depressing and made most of us the pessimists we are. We spent many games just hoping for a draw before we'd kicked a ball and watched as young players developed , and speculated about how long it would be before they were noticed and taken by someone with more ambition. When we get back there It will be different this time.

Implications that because you don't/can't attend a match that you aren't therefore a 'proper' fan or worse 'plastic'

Personally I was gutted he was sent off, we have always had trouble playing against 10 men. If he's stayed on the park we would have scored several more I have no doubt
