I like him myself, so, he's outspoken, a rarity in current times of neutral inoffensive drivel

The anticipation was definitely more exciting than the content. However, still remains the best thread for days though.

This is one of the more interesting threads currently running.

This is not a trifling matter, some people want to have their cake and eat it and it's not like there are 100's and 1000's of potential investors out there!

Not if they were pathetic and childish, in which case they’d find it an attractive proposition. You need to be more inclusive

God, you must be old. Bet you’ve seen some changes, did you catch the Titanic leaving port, fair play, over 100 years old and still posting on Saintsweb

When you say “some have suggested”… that actually came from Ralph. I understand your logic in saying give him a run, but I’m pretty certain that’s not how it works with Ralph, he’s definitely a “my way or the highway” type manager, which is one of the reasons I would suggest we lack spontaneity.

The season starts next season

What about Micky Evans, kept us up single handedly. How could you forget him?

I wonder what Ralph’s mindset will be for this one, hopefully not the same as the Wolves game? Listening to Semmens interview on TSP yesterday, he seems very well aware and informed of the issues, although he very much backed Ralph he also referred to the Wolves game as a game changer, he also made more than one reference to the undersized squad causing many of our problems in last season’s decline. He went on to say that has all been addressed. So reading between the lines, like us, I think he is expecting something from the next run of games. I hope Ralph isn’t feeling the heat too much and goes out with the most positive selection and game plan he can.

Plus they are a bit too old now

To get an insight into the club’s position on Ralph then today’s total Saints podcast is essential listening.
-
They should get media coverage proportional to the interest. That’s fair.
-
I’m paraphrasing Ralph, he has, more than once, publicly questioned his attitude. He does have something about him, I am aware you are a big fan, I don’t disagree with you that he is potentially something special, but I don’t think we figure in his plans.
-
He would if he showed some interest.

Is the Premier League too rich for us?

Oh, I understand now, it wasn’t apparent from your prickly response, but I totally disagree, please spare your sympathy. -

What a very strange response. -

I don’t have a problem with playing in the championship, I have a problem with the pain and humiliation of relegation followed by the fire sale. Look what happened last time. -

I don't like the way it is heading, I haven't for a long while. I've become very jaded with top flight football. I'd be very happy to see the league equalised as they do in other codes, american football and aussie rules both have the draft system in place, I'd prefer to see salary caps, I'd prefer to see spending aligned to home attendances or something similar. At that point its the best coached and run clubs that will succeed. It seems like there is an out of control race to the bottom happening before our eyes. -
They are currently on track for 5.4 goals between them over the season
-
I think the gist is it is in decline, caused largely by Donald Trump, Boris and a cervix.

Does the suspension not apply to international matches?
