True, but would still like to see Minamino start, I don't think he will , he appears to have been written off.
-
You could say that about almost every weather condition
-
I'd start Minamino or Obefami over Walcott. I don't see what Minamino has done wrong to be written off RH and a lot of the fans (on here).

I take it as a positive, on the basis I will grab hold of anything right now, Redmond, Theo and Moussa have bee abject in recent times, so while I agree he is "nowhere near good enough", it is still possible he will be better than the 3 mentioned.

I hope not, it was nice just to talk about good football, albeit briefly

Shocking leg breaker of a tackle by Gueye.

Game of two halves!

I find myself wanting Poch to do well, I’ve got no feeling either way for City

I’m just enjoying the quality, especially from PSG, the ball movement, the intricate interplay in really tight situations.

City v PSG, what a game! Different class

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

Or get deducted points for LMF (Lack of moral fibre) and receive a white feather. -
Unfortunately it's the US driven, virtue signalling, "cancel culture " world we live in now

I can't speak for him, but for me it's the "embarrassing" decline from "elephant in the room" to "anyone starting to look nervously at the table".

Saints CEO Martin Semmens interview - 26th July 2020
Toussaint replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
Won't ever happen, Saints losing our best talent to rivals? unprecedented. Rest easy -
He speaks with a confidence inspiring Germanic accent, that is the clincher.

There is a lot of talk about Ralph's style and system, I'm not entirely sure what the stye is than some kind of maniacal unsustainable style that often leaves the defenders exposed and looking foolish and the midfielders burning out during a game, never mind after a succession of games. A couple of weeks ago I was defending him and citing the fact that he hasn't had the chance to assemble his own team. I'm not sure I trust him to assemble a team anymore. All academic as we have no funds and we are up for sale. We are in complete limbo, it's a big risk appointing a manager now if the ownership is to change. Like a few others I would give him a few games next season, but if this seasons the trend continues he has to go

One thing we don't need is any more zombies! -
I'm not buying the bad luck stuff, when Ings went off we could have gone 4 5 1 with Wankybitz coming on into midfield or bought Stevens on for a 5 4 1 , either option to try to hold on to what we had..... or we could have bough Minimouso on as a straight swap, instead he brings on two out of form lightweights.

Agree with everything except Theo and Redmond, Theo has been woeful and will not improve next season. Redmond, (worse than Theo because at least Theo has the excuse of being in the twilight of his career), is probably still well regarded out there, so cash out.

If anyone is utterly burned out it must be him.(JWP)

After considered deliberations, I have arrived at the conclusion we are not very good, bordering on very bad. The only mitigating factor preventing the ruling being wholly in favour of very bad is that we are good in parts, just like “the curates egg” Citation... his honour Lord Toussaint’s verdict in the case of Southampton FC V the premier league the fa cup and league cup competitions. April 2021.

Sure they just aren’t completely knackered ?

Possibly players are burned out by unrealistic physical demands
