Davis 8 - Great save. Seemed a bit more comfortable with crosses yesterday. Butterfield 7 - Did nothing wrong. Fonte 7 - Seemed to hoof it a lot more than usual yesterday. Jaidi 6 - Very erratic, won a lot in the air but his distribution was the worst I've seen from him in a long time. Harding 6 Chamberlain 7 - Wasn't in the game as much as we would have liked, but ran at their left back well and caused a few problems. Chaplow 5 - Not one of his better games again, got much better in the 2nd half though. Hammond 7 - Seemed to control the midfield well today, a lot of good forward passes too. Lallana 8 - (MOM) Caused all sorts of problems down the left, class above. Lambert 7 - Plays much better with Barnard I think, cracking freekick. Barnard 7 - Made a lot of good runs, caused a few problems and put their CB's under a lot of pressure.

Quality day. Very good atmosphere from our lot, nothing much from them. A lot more humour from our fans today rather than our usual dull songs. The swaying for Lallana's song looks good. Always looked good when United did it for Ronaldo. For our second goal, the matey in a cap in their south stand going crazy when we scored, jumping around with no one doing absolutely anything. ****ing funny. When Rickie scored his freekick, a Bompey fan in the same stand kicked the advertising as hard as he could and it obviously hurt him a lot. The pathetic ball boy who thought he was 'ard by giving everyone the ****** sign, think he got a bit of shock with the reaction he received. The escort was funny too, some of the comments from that pavilion were hilarious. The group of local pikeys following the escort the whole way back to the station was strange, especially when we got to the station all they did was stand on the other side of the road and watch as we went into the station.

Was very good. Some reasonably humourous songs for a change too. Good day out.

Football is becoming extremely sterile. It's getting worse and worse and I fear it will keep going with all the money involved. I love the matchday experience too. Would take Peterborough's away terrace over a boring ground like SMS every day of the week.
