Never been to Brighton, so want them to go up, not been to Watford for about 5 years so them as 2nd choice, the other 2 I went to last year so don't really want them to goup.

Chelsea have Azpiliqueta, and Clyne is the sort of player who wants to play every week. He's superb and our club won't want to sell him unless for stupid money. A lot of fans know we need some kind of back up for the full back positions, so no surprise we're after another RB.

I reckon it's J-Rod.

Would have a look at Trippier and Ince, not fussed by the rest though. Trippier isn't good enough to get in ahead of Clyne and sounds like the Gamez deal is pretty much done.

Exactly my thought. Though Clyne and Shaw could do with some competition. It's a tough decision as beyond these 2, there is very little quality in our squad, but I can't really see us signing anyone thats that good if they know they're not going to play.

Would love Isco, no chance though IMO. Absolutely incredible player.

Bale is considerably better than Johnson though, and I don't think we would have conceded that goal is Morgan was playing anyway.

I don't think his final ball is very good, and think his tackling is pretty superb. Keep him at RB I reckon.

Odd one really. Because he's probably put in some of our best set pieces, along with some absolute shockers.

And you say this all the time. But Cortese didn't EXPECT us to struggle, and going on the predictions on here at the start of the season, neither did we. Surely you have to try and bring in the best players possible? Even if they're not going to be ideal in a relegation scrap, if the club was never intending on being in a relegation scrap, then thats no problem. IF Gaston had started like Hazard, then we wouldn't be where we are. But I'm sure he hasn't quite settled due to a number of reasons, lifestyle, new country, bereavement, injury etc. Do I want him to have had a better season than he has - yes of course, but just because he hasn't been a world beater in his first season, doesn't mean he's suddenly a waste of money.

Some players settle quickly, get a run in the team, fit in with the players around them straight away, and have huge confidence. Others take a bit longer to settle, and some don't settle at all. Excuse me for not writing a player of Gastons quality off just yet!!

Fulham will struggle as Berbatov is another year older and the have a neutral stand

Cortese's realistic ambition would probably be to qualify for Europe through league position, i.e. top 6 IMO.

Hasn' this been done to death already? Upper midtable, keep our young players together, build around the talent we already have, and get rid of players not good enough.
