Jesus christ. Why does everyone have to be amazing or awful on this forum. Name a better right back that is realistic for us to have bought. Clyne is a huge talent and cost bugger all. Yoshi started slowly but he cost 2m, and is more than good enough for us, he reads the game incredibly well. I'm guessing you don't go to many games going on your opinion.

I don't think Sharp would have played very much at all. I don't think he would have done much when he has been on the pitch. Mayuka offers us something that we dont really have in the forward areas is pace. For whatever reason he hasn't really been utilised yet, but I can't think of many games where Sharp would have made a difference this year. He did a job last season, yes, but IMO he's not good enough.

Well from when he has played he's not been terrible, and is quick. He's no world beater but will cause problems given a chance, don't write him off just yet. He's still very young and the scouting team clearly saw something in him to get him over here and pay money for him. And plus he raises our profile in Africa

No, he probably wanted to be told he'd play a big part in our season. He was probably told otherwise and if he wanted to play every week then go on loan. You can't really speculate whether he'd grab a few off the bench can you!? I could say, put Hooiveld up front and he'd prob score a few, but it's all opinion and speculation. I just don't think Sharp has the natural ability or pace to cause prem defenders problems. Comes across as a lovely bloke, and played a big part last year, but J-Rod and Mayuka offer more of a threat from the bench IMO.

Why is it ? We play with 1 up front, Lambert. If he gets injured we have J-Rod, and if they're both injured we have Mayuka. It was probably Sharp that instigated the deal anyway because he comes across as the kind of player that just loves playing football. He won't have wanted to be 3rd choice striker here.
