LOL. I think plastic Dave will need one if they don't get a majority!

Dear Dave, The funniest thing in this election, for all Browns faults highlighted by various people on Saintsweb, you still can't seem to walk away with this election. A hung parliment is a disasterous result for you personally and the Tory party if it does occur. Worst recession since 1940's, unpopular war, unpopular PM, high inbound migration, bigotgate and still the public are **** scared about voting Tory. It would seem that people really do have long memories and can see past the PR and are wondering have the Tories really changed. What happens when we remove the veneer, will we expose the same old Tory party?

surely there has to be a place for "lads" in there, or is that the umbrella term for the above criteria?

Don't ask the tough questions ESB, it doesn't suit his agenda. -

Why the hell is that embarrassing? -
When we were offered these tickets we felt it was best to put them straight on general" sale as season ticket holders, members and other fans who have been to Fratton Park this season have had the priority opportunity to purchase. For various reasons people may not have been able to get to Fratton Park this season and we felt they should have the chance to experience the magnificent atmosphere our fans create at Wembley." What a crock of ****! Because they're always sold out and there have only been circa 20 games you "couldn't" attend.

Should we have a referendum regarding....

A resounding yes. -
Oh my god, I actually agree with Dune here. Seriously, there must be lots of community type projects that could use free/cheap labour. Rehabilitation of the offenders and regeneration of the community could both be goals. No doubt there might be some shouting about human rights.

It's a statement TDD not an excuse, the deregulation of the banking markets would have come about under ANY government. I was just pointing out that the Tories started the deregulation of our markets in the 80's and would have in my eye's done the same as Labour. Elsewhere in the thread there is mention of the gold stocks being sold, at rock bottom prices. Imagine if we had the foresight of the French and didn't fully privatise every damn market, profits now going to EDF (Eletricity de France) might be flowing back into the British economy/government. Anyway, that's all in the past.

Brown has a PhD from a good university, it has got nothing to do with education. Cameron is seen as elitist, end of. In regards to some of your other posts Dune, I would much rather have someone of substance that a glossy veneer, which I think Cameron is. Please lets not go down the personality route as they do in the US, it should be about policies not persona.

The Tories would have done little different in regards to the regulations around banks, deregulated markets were a corner stone of the Thatcher years. In regards to the poor getting poorer, can you provide any proof of this? Lies damned lies and statistics and all that, but personally I thought child poverty decreasing under Labour was a given. Anyway I really can't see the lot of the lower social classes/poor/people living on the breadline improving under the tories, can you? Now I think inheritance tax is wrong in principle, but raising the starting point to £1m is going to do what for the lower classes? Where is that money going to come from?

Con 56% Lab 54% BNP 52% Lib 51% Green 47% I think that goes to show the parties aren't miles apart on these generic issues, would be more interesting to see more in depth questioning.

Went to "More Spice" next to the stadium, had to walk past it to get to SilverSpoons. Reasonable atmosphere, decent bar, served straight away everytime, 2 minute walk to turnstile. Happy Days,

Unions, gotta love em eh! I'm not the only one myopic one here either Wade. Maybe you ought to try and sit on the other side of the fence and look at it from BA's perspective. And I notice you skirted round the issue of two people at different airports having vastly different pay rates. How can we ever have equality in gender pay when BA can't even pay people the same money for the same job?
-
Never voted Tory, never will, and any way I'm able to make my own decisions in life. I don't need anyone to tell me how to think or vote. Unlike union members. BTW, interesting end to the Royal Mail strike. The unions basically settled for £1400 with some allowances rolled into based pay. Suddenly, the job protection line is out of the window. Bought out for a lump sum of £1400. LOL. Talk about short term thinking!

I'm not a parasite, I didn't cause the banking crisis, I'm just a pathetically small cog in the machine thanks! We're all entitled to opinions, mine is this strike is wrong. They have hugely different pay for people doing the same job in Gatwick and Heathrow for the same company. As for the Tory jibe, you know where I come from and background. I'd never vote Tory and never would. I was just pointing out, I have no recourse for pension plan changes. No opportunity to withdraw labour. And not everyone at my company earns 100k+, there are thousands of people who are affected on 20 or 30k per year, far less then the BA staff.
-
Does that include bank holidays though? You are correct though BTF, 20 days minimum was implemented recently.
-
You have a PM rick.

Rally, still available? mike.bourke@talk21.com

My company are changing my pension, the change is in consultation phase at the moment (we all know where that one's going!). Core contributions are dropping 4% for me, perhaps I should throw my toys out of the pram as well (I know the BA dispute is over more than this). Oh feck I can't, I'd get sacked as there's no right to withdraw labour. Get real BA staff. You're a privately owned company.
-
Go team WW. Maybe they should have withdrawn the strike threat when the offer was on the table then.
