Dibden, 70's Mike. You've both hit the nail square on the head. Our derby is massive to us, and real football people are aware of it, but even if they weren't I couldn't give a flying feck! The scouse and manc derby games are well over hyped. Our derby is stoked up by the fact that we've play each other relatively infrequently.

I was responding to the post by 1576... "If you didn't know any better you could think the police engineer these things just to make use of those nice camcorders they have. " I wasn't saying it was anything to do with rivalry, just a stupid decision to let out two sets of fans with the history of the CCFC and CFC mobs. As it happened, the post match trouble made ours look like handbags. To quote a mate "it was like the 80's again".

Way things are going you'll be non-league then **** wit, two leagues apart indeed.

Could explain why the self proclaimed loudest best fans ever in the world were so quiet :-) Surely not, though, they had thousands of supporters in saints areas, only reason we sold out. *****s the lot of em.

A late effort to remove any incriminating evidence

Strangely I had the same conversation with a mate from work who knows some Chelsea old boys. If you think letting Pompey and Saints out at the same time was mad, they did the same thing with Chelsea and Cardiff!

The Skate news website has that Storrie was "attacked" FFS. Get a grip you sensationalist ****s.

You should be supplied with a out of the box wep code. On sky routers the intial code is printed on the back of the router.

John from the The Bridge said he was open after the game, unless plod decides otherwise. At the moment, he's ok. Did say licencing authorities were persuading pubs to stay shut until 5pm.
-
That's common sense. No one in their right mind will kick off near the stadium, too much CCTV around. If they do they'll be getting door knocks at 5am in the morning same as 2005.
-
Don't let that get in the way of a good story!
-
Will pop into the Bridge at lunchtime as ask John and Mandy what the score is for opening hours before and after.....

Fencing is a good idea from a police perspective, allows them to focus the available officers elsewhere. Mounted police also being drafted in from Thames Valley according to the Echo. Had also heard from a skate mate that some are coming up ticketless, meeting up and then going into town for a row. Can't see it being significant numbers though given the CCTV we've got in town, stick out like a sore thumb.

I thought the same thing Nick, but it could potentially change events on the pitch. If they don't get this cash they might need to send some of their loan players back. Therefore there is potential to change outcomes on the pitch. Stinks to high heaven. Mind you, if all 20 teams need to agree to it, it's a non runner in my eyes.

I didn't, I was referring to Dimond Geezer. Personally not worried, but do think there'll be a reasonable amount of trouble to be had if you want some, as your last post alluded to. Your Sh!tting it comment was pathetic. The latter one much more reasoned.

2-1 to the Skates I'm afraid.

I'd be a little concerned if I were taking my kids as well mate.

I've got a horrible feeling it's going to kick off big time on Saturday. As someone else said, the knuckle draggers may not have a club to support in a week of so, add to that they're the prem league side but are feeling abused/victimised by everyone and feck are they angry about their financial problems. Nothing to lose (apart from the game lol)
