I notice that Corp has disappeared under his rock again until after Wednesday. A bit concerning that the reasonable PES and Mero are also absent. Come on chaps you must have an angle on this over the weekend with the press coverage.

I got a message about the site wix.com being blocked due to malware.

In which case they're fecked then Steve!

It would seem from their insistence that there are likely investors they're going for option 3. Notts County got 28 days grace on the back of the "new investors" angle did they not.

I *think* it was on the orders of Hitler as he wanted as the captial instead of London. I could be talking complete tosh though as I can't find any reference on the web.

As you say rocker highly unlikely due to accuracy problems. Wasn't the church in the high street (opp FYEO) destroyed in the blitz? That's only a stones throw from St Michael's. The only no bomb zone I'm certain about was Winchester.

One was a boilermaker down at Vospers (Harland & Wolff) in Woolston, not sure about the other one as he was Irish.

Hi, my little boy wants his b'day party @ SMS. Anyone had a party there for their kids? Worth while? Entertaining?
-
You're a tedious little git aren't you. Oh, corpy thinks things are going well so amazingly he returns. Go back to your gardening leave. At least PES and Mero stayed through the whole sorry affair which is not over yet BTW. Role on the 10th.

You know it's actually quite difficult to get tickets, although I've no doubt we'll get close to seeling out. I've a mate who's been about 10 times this season, but isn't on the database so he can't get tickets. If you just walk up and pay even with a debit card I'm not sure you'll be on the DB.

6K.

Not gonna happen is it, Unless they've kept a block un used! The spare 6k at the moment will be spread around all areas of SMS.

That article just seems to be a rehash of whats been written on here. Not that I'm unhappy!

The man is rotten to the core. I guess this may have been in his contract at every club he's ever been at. It would be interesting to see the number of players bought/sold over his management career in comparison to other managers.

"One of the more interesting pieces of information that has come out is that between the takeover in October and today, the club has received in excess of £50m of income. Mark Jacob confirmed that prior to the January Sky monies and sales of Kaboul and Begovic, the club has received £40m of income. Half of which is the Chainrai loans - charged against the club as David Conn wrote, the rest have come though gate receipts, transfer fees payments etc." While I agree that the finances look dodgy to say the least, I wouldn't trust a word Jacob comes out with. Unless the 40m can be accounted for £ by £ it's a throw away comment in my eyes. A full independant review of the finances needs to be done to get to the bottom of this financial cess pit.

Someone on The News website has said the normal staff have been paid this morning. Not sure about the players.
-
Absolutely, if they do go down this approach with no debt being paid up I can't see them getting the "golden share" to play in the league. From a fans perspective the best thing to happen would be admin, and soon, otherwise we could really see AFC Pompey playing in the Wessex league!

I have the same issue! Used to have a ST, no longer, no idea of customer number for ticket purchase!
-
It's a possibility, but I would guess unlikely. He's just sold his stake in Aeroflot for 200-300 million but he's said to be investing that in Russia. Struck up some sort of arrangement with the government to invest in social schemes. All rumours though until someone buys the club. Look how many wealthy people we were linked with in our hour of need!
-
I agree, not many players at Pompey that could walk into other premiership sides. Some could drop a division but who's gonna take a pay cut from seemingly stupid levels Pompey have been paying.
-
Less than an hour to go, they're either playing a great game of brinksmanship and raising the price or they don't need any money ! Alternatively, apart from Begovic and James no one is interested in the players they have, more likely in my eyes. Hence no fire sale.

We sign Seaborne, Exeter sign a player. Not rocket science is it!

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/custompages/custompage.aspx?pageid=81581 Worth having a read of the early posts, funny as feck. I particularly like the question about having a youth team, roving report Jordan replies, just about! There do still seem to be some people down the road with complete withdrawl from reality. One such post, I hear we might be signing Baptista from Arsenal and bring in Robbie Keane!

Get a grip will you Nick. Unless you specifically look for the SSL encrypted website (HTTPS) you won't get this link.

pfc123, just pointing out in the hour of your need, the best fans in the world stay away. FFS, you're weeks away from liquidation or administration, yet only 16,000 turn up at a crucial 6 pointer. Unfortunately, you're a long way from relegated just yet, so I'd expect bigger crowds.
