  1. Dune, this also affects pensions and life assurance. Men will get less when they buy their pension annuity now, the fact that you're male and have a shorter life span cannot be taken into account when allocating pensions, not all good news.
  2. I did, I shall not next time. Already saved that cash anyway with one download.
  3. Dune, I'm also with SwiftCover, they're ok for service. Had a small bump, logged details on website, occasional update to the case then it was closed, all sorted. I'm sure it could be painful but although they're web based they do have a number to call if you want to speak to someone.
  4. Peanuts though, I just registered for 8 weeks and it cost £5
  5. 3 and the 1 game where Adkins was appointed but was not "in charge". I really didn't get that comment (not yours, Jonnyboys).
  6. I thought they had used some of it upfront while still in the prem? Maybe I'm going mad. Anyway, the money in Autumn as posted below will surely be extracted to line Chinnys pocket?
  7. The tool only gives out as much information as you put in TDD, put decent security settings in place and all is fine. It is amazing how many people block access to their wall and friends list but still show picture gallerys! The security settings ought to be a little easier to understand. The same can be said of linkedin though, which I'm also on for work contacts.
  8. No social media policy per se, Facebook is blocked on the network. The social media side of things is actually covered in the code of conduct which you have to affirm to annually.
  9. Mack, the pertinent point is, how much of the parachute money have they spent early as indicated in the last release from the cowboys who ran the administartion process. You're telling me you break even on crowds of 12- 15K given some of the salaries being paid? Oh and it's mush.
  10. Tweet from Solent.....Finance woes in the past - Nugent "Portsmouth player David Nugent says his side have moved on since last years financial woes...." hahaha, No David, you mean you've been paid but are currently spending your way to more issues when the parachute money runs out.
  11. I wasn't sure those one liners were from Holepuncture, they looked like soundbites from the participants ok? Your location is almost correct, condescending pretentious pedantic ****.
  12. There is no closing quote/speech mark around the rantings under the first URL. I assume that all of these are made by the participants.
  13. It was a break in at one of their data centres that caused damage to some of the equipment.
  14. Would you like to clarify which of the text in that is yours please? It's not that clear which are quotes from the article. Are the final 4 lines in italics your thoughts?
  15. Oh dear Dune.....
  16. Haven't watched it in years, maybe it's about time I subject my kids to it. See how long it takes before they cry!
  17. How monotonous, and to think you paid £5 to be that boring.
  18. How could I forget about Life of Brian! I agree saving private ryan isn't a great film, but the first 5 minutes are the most realistic war action you'll ever see as attested to by D-day landing vets.
  19. Maybe you're right DPS, we ought to break it down into Genre Comedy ----------------------- Airplane wins surely? Action/Adventure Drama Animated --------------------- Watership Down Kids --------------------------- Toy Story, ET War ---------------------------- Saving Private Ryan (if just for the opening sequence) , Any of the Vietnam era, The Longest Day, Bridge over the River Kwai Sci Fi -------------------------- Close Encounters, Star Wars, 2001 A Space Oddysey (sp?) Horror -------------------------
  20. The UK economy shrank by more than previously thought during the last three months of 2010, revised figures show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12577154 Lovely, so even without the snow the economy shrank .1%, not a significant figure but a concern non the less. Q1 2011 figures are going to be very interesting.....
  21. I love Quadrophenia, but greatest film ever? One flew over the cuckoo's nest, The Godfather, Apocolypse Now.... Far too many great films to choose from!
  22. Don't let FACTS get in the way Invicta, Brighton are awesome and we're ****. Seagull has hit the nail on the head as well, they're a great unit, just as Blackpool were to get promoted to the premier league. The sum of the parts is greater than the whole. If this were not the case then Chelsea and Citeh would be running away with the Prem.
  23. To be fair I think you're a **** head as well who knows feck all as well. What does the "big man" (you sycophantic ****) actually know. Diddly squat, only what the inner circle of EX players tell him.
  24. I would say generally speaking, and I know generalisations are dodgy, but the majority of fans don't really care about the political goings on at the club. The examples you gave are a bit far fetched apart from the ticket prices, anything can happen there. In regards to the community enagement that's exactly what the club want so you're barking up the wrong tree there. Personally, success on the pitch is not the only measure; success in the bigger picture is also important. What I can say is that at the moment people on both sides of the argument are making mountains out of molehills. Cortese has come in and shook up the "fooball born and bred" group, and some don't like it. Oh and banning Steve, if needs be, as long as he can still play in the forum match ;-)
  25. Not if we carry on winning Dune, most fans couldn't careless, all they want is success on the pitch.
