I still have my 'hamster' shirt from the forum match, m most prized possesion. Will you take it out with you and get me a picture, I'll use it as my avtar. If we do move I most definitely will do aht I said and I'd be begging everyone's old laptops on here to make sure it happens. Do you believe in fate Nick?

Don't be hard on yourself mate, you're young, you won't geit right for a number of years yet but we all had to start somewhere. A better one (for a beginner at least) would have been "Welcome to LoneleyVille - Population - You. Or you could have done this for added impact and to distract from your actually quite ****e sense of humour: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://memearchive.net/memerial.net/page/1880.jpg&imgrefurl=http://memerial.net/&usg=__qI0wOozd0y1V3AS-rgZ-iWDvPaA=&h=266&w=274&sz=21&hl=en&start=44&zoom=1&tbnid=eaqzWDBtocdaWM:&tbnh=154&tbnw=154&ei=R6llTZG2L4m04AbzlYXhCA&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dpopulation%2Byou%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-GB:official%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D658%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C761&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=136&vpy=355&dur=2081&hovh=212&hovw=219&tx=141&ty=172&oei=5ahlTYG_KZKwhAeM7-35BQ&page=3&ndsp=18&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:44&biw=1280&bih=658

Not a very good one, you'll be better off away from my influence in Kenya. Really wish I was going still mate. We could enrol all the kids onro SWF, what a great way to keep in touch and hear how the project is progressing when you all get home.

FOUR! I'm quite proud of that one actually.

I can't be alone in considering Gordon Strachan's 'humour' was lost on me. Loved his achievements for us, but never really thought of him as a nice bloke.

Bill and Ben Wallace; the other Wallace brothers.

In tribute to that great song from the musical I would like to dedicate this question in honoue of Broadway Films. If you were in a toilet and 5 pound cpins fell from your pocket into the bowl and in looking down you saw that the previous occupant had no pulled the chain Would you 1. Puck them out? 2. Flush and pick out the ones that survie, wash them under the tap and put it down to experience? or 3. Walk away, dignity intact? What would YOU do?

Are you sure Pete?

You mean 'legging it' mac. We will be going through the famous Blisworth Tunnel, Englands third longest tunnel, so no, I will not be legging it thanks very much. Talking of tunnels and whilst educating you peasants, another common phrase originates from our canal network. The use of dynamite to break through the rocks and not legging it (see what I did there) quick enough would leave the 'navvy' (bloody heck, there's another; from Navigator) 'stone deaf'. ONLY FOUR MORE SLEEPS

They are NOT barges! You'd be surprised at how quickly irate those acquiessent narrow boaters can become when one 'accidentally' let's the b word slip out.

/\ "psychosomatic typhoid"? I don't even know what that is DSM and Google didn;t help much either. I keep my windlass in my belt btw.

I know it was probably down to the angle I viewed it from but I creamed my jeans when Guly twisted round to pot one against Blackpool; my personal favourite so far this season.

I think many of us were taken in by the prospect of Alex heading to North london, even Nicola stated that that particular speculation had contributed to other clubs assuming that he was heading off and we'd have surplus funds from the sale. Maybe Arsenal like the look of Bart and are letting us have a closer look at Shea? Now that is lazy conjecture but I personally I'm surprised he's stuck around and really like his style between the sticks. He'll play at a higher level one day I am sure.
-
Of course it's conjecture tbf but i'd challenge the lazy bit. Shea's been involved at England senior level I believe and has been used as cover for a couple of the best keepers in the Prem. He's won a couple of very respectable medals at youth level. They (Arsenal) state on their website that he hopes to taste first team football with us, I'm assuming that he has every possibilty of getting a start or two as has Bart recently. Thinking about it, you are right actually and there is most likely no link whatsoever to the loan and any future deal, we can all remember those who were convinced that Morgan was waiting in the wings here for the call up so i take it back, still don't accept the lazy tag though but that is perhaps because it's true. I'll shut up now.

I seem to recall the great Georgie Best once saying in the press that at the time Danny was the only current player in English football who he would cross the road to watch?
-
We named our dog Wallace after Danny, just before he left for Old Trafford. At the time he was by far my favourite player and the one who I wanted to emulate on Grantham Green. I also think that the team that Danny broke into edged it in the entertainment stakes.
-
Surprised that Arsenal have let us have one of their decent keepers and can't help wondering if that might be viewed some kind of sweetener.

Went to watch The Spitfires tonight play against Dover Athletic and tbh they were woeful, terrible pitch too. The home fans were so quiet it was embarrasing emphasised by the almost constant singing (and godawful drumming) from the travelling Whites support. Dover got a decent start with an early goal and an Adam Birchill (sp) strike in the last minute which was imo coming all night. He's not that quick but perseveres and was turning this man inside out all night. Got a bit dirty in parts from Dover and I was surprised that no cards were shown to them then again the ref had a better view than me. If that is the standard of Blue Square promotion hopefuls then success will be fairly short lived. Each of their 3 subs made little or no impact whereas Dover's fresh legs altered the tempo and shape of the game, I am guessing that even at non-league level strength in depth is what seperates the men from the boys. Decent pint of IPA though and staff very friendly.
