  1. What's better, going to sleep on this sort of news or waking up to it. Bloody hell! I feel like a little kid.
  2. Would make a sensible move if we got Jackson in return, younger player more likely to see us into the Prem. Though I'd miss Rickie loads as he seems a natural fans favourite.
  3. One of my first thoughts too, maybe this is why there's a delay with Beckham signing for Spurs? Potter's Heron anyone?
  4. Hope he makes more headlines against Blackpool to put the icing on the cake. He plays on the left He plays on the riiight Adam Lallana, makes Messi look shiite.
  5. Not seen it on Sky yet, someoen should call to let them know that the Saints are coming....
  6. Bet the texts will be flying around saints fans in the morning. can't recall a current player extending his contract giving such a buzz before.
  7. Great news, abolutely great news.

That does not surprise me dune, well done for doing that too. Good man.
  10. Sounds a lot like those silly nasal strips that the like sof Michael Owen used to sport, even I know that when exerting oneself one breathes more through the mouth than the nose. A fool and his money eh...
  11. Blimey! He had a jewellers shop in Chatham, a real nice bloke by all accounts, he couldn;t have been that old either.
  12. this explains why so many games were postponed around christmas at short notice then. Mind games.
  13. The speed cameras do make money just not for the local authority, they do however make a few quid from theses driver awareness courses, or so I am told, hence why some are being turned off. Re the highway code; I learnt something from my recent daliance with an awareness course and that is that when the lights change to amber it does not mean be prepared to stop as most people think, it means STOP. I am also bemused as to why they use that bellows type camera picture on the warning sigs, when did antone last (if ever) see one of them in real life?
  14. so many to choose from but I will have to go with the one that really drives mrs h's nuts. Dean Friedman - Lucky Stars
  15. my polish grandad used to swear at my nan in polish in front of us, at the time didn't know what he was saying but we knew it was not nice by his tone. 'ashty korva' or something like that iirc.
  16. ah yes sandwich, cheers. was it best that scored a hat-trick in a league cup match the?
  17. you hear far worser words on the news. i was watching the news toady about someone who got murdered, i'd much rather be ****ed than murdered.

  19. was it leon who went in goal live on Sky?
  20. prior to my daughter getting wed the girls decided it would be fun to give then both a 'Mr & Mrs' style questionairre to see if how well they knew each other. Nipper was a bit coy and unbeknown to me the fool typed his answers on my computer. I found the document one day after the ceremony and curiosity got the better of me. All started quite innocently, where did you meet? what's her favourite drink? etc, then came the more in-depth stuff, I will spare you the detail, suffice to say i was mortified and in all honesty I was proper shocked by his answers...our little princess!!!! Took me quite some time to be able to look her in the eye after that but when I told mrs h, who was there at the hen night when they were read out, of my fatal discovery she just said 'well, hammy it's a blessing they didn't ask YOU the same questions' I blushed and we lolled. true story.
  21. UniLink U1 http://www.unilinkbus.co.uk/pdfs/networkmap.pdf Times: http://www.unilinkbus.co.uk/pdfs/u1.pdf Jump off just after the Royal South Hants Hospital and follow the crowd. If you want a beer go to the King Alfred, better burgers just outside than at the stadium too. If the traffic is really slow you could get off in Bevois Valley and cut through the industrial estate, again follow the crowd through Empress Road.

pity that Brompton bicycles is in private hands i guess, they are gonna be leading the commuter/folding bike leaders imo in particular for london commuters who tend to go for trendy brands to impress their city mates. there must be others though.

on the basis of him being a hypocrite that would make the blokes who set up that cadbury's village hypocrites too surely. not sure that they lived there though so maybe a moot point.
