fwiw they are welcome to my miniscule contribution to their education, i firmly believe that I (as a citizen) will be repaid with interest in due course. and andy, don;t be swayed by those who choose alternative paths of following orders and conforming, if we all did that this world would be a sad place to live indeed imho. Stick it to 'em.

I remember, , trannny in ear, almost falling off my bike when I heard it whilst cycling through Brambridge. And I am ordinarily a fairly safe road user. I still have most of the commemorative supplements in my collection too, by definition not very rare but I remember reading them all cover to cover at the time.

..and a pretty good comprehensive Lennon playlist to pass the time for all my fellow Lennonites:

on this day 30 years ago I cried. Talk about formative years, influencial music and people... Anyone else?

Insurance job Deepio, I'd keep out of it if i were you mate.

In a word...no. but thank you for your concerns S-S (not THE s_s)

Please be honest with me, if you think the laptops are deaded you must say so. NB Reason for posting arrangements on public forum = personal safety (mine not stevo's).

No work? How's about 15:00 hrs? I can tie it in with visiting my Mum, she's around the corner from you stevo. Actually, do you fancy sharing a bucket of balls at the range?

AND And, people want terracing back! cake and eat it springs to mind. God I hate football snobs.

l - head deppo. i remember when you had to queue overnight outside the Dell to show your dedication to get a cup ticket and the chairman never brought out coffee and free tickets for life if you dropped a sprog. I personally preferred the old way as us fans bonded through sharing the inconvenience, now (some) people really do have the 'i'm a better fan than you' attitude to a fault, in fact maybe the club SHOULD give them their seats so that we can avoid them. I also like the experince of meeting new faces and hugging strangers, it;s much more conducive with a decent society imho.

/\ hope I didnee upset you the other day mate? I kow a couple of BNP (ex NF to boot) members and despite their nutty stances on subjects that I would otherwise find abominable, they are actually very nice people.
-
Will do s_s. I can drop them off on Thursday (PM) if that suits? 1 needs a keyboard (keys missing) and the other deffo needs a power lead before you could even start it up. Be nice to meat you in the flesh actually.
-
Why was there not this furore around the BNP list expose? Maybe on a different level but that still put some people's wellbeing in jeapardy and one could argue that it was a gross intrusion on people's rights to hold their own views. Please don;t take thsi wrong but someone I work with said the other day that they found it most ironic that "soldiers lives are now at risk! Der!!!"

stevoh. If I were a cynical sort I might wonder if Bill Gangsta Gates hadn;t sent out a super worm to destroy the world's laptops thus increasing sales of his latest gadget, the massively overpriced i-pad. Whilst on the subject, I have two laptops here (donations) that I'd like to have cleaned etc so that I can redistribute them to deserving clients. If interested in having a look and giving a fair quote, I'd willingly give you first refusal mate. Just say the word.
-
sounds like tension headache to me. seriously, have you got something 'going on' that you are subliminally avoiding dealing with? Oops, just realised this is in the Muppet Shop.
-
to be fair, one should not try to look 'cool' on a bus Redbul, if you are on a bus you ARE NOT cool.
-
There seems to be a spate of laptop problems recently. I know a few people aho've had a whole range of probs too. Seriously, I think this site is a godsend. A sincere thanks to all the forum geeks (and I mean that in an affectionate way). x

[quote=aintforever;907695Agree, these latest leaks are just pointless and reckless and serve no purpose except to aid terrorism. This Wikileaks bloke needs to watch his ass. If i were one of the baddies I might consider assasinating Allange myself. Who would believe that it wasn't them (The US) behind it? Believe nothing, trust no-one.

The old adage that 'if you are good enough you are old enough' stands imho. Having said that I personally feel that Alex has much to learn but at our level we are fortunate to have him, we'd be hard pushed to buy a player like him within our current budget. Love to see him progress with us even for just one more season, after that I wouldn;t mind us realising our investment and pumping the profits back into the squad thus developing Adkins resume. imho our ultimate success lies with the manager.

Recently purchased a domain name and I am interested in designing the site myself to start off. Any freeware products would be appreciated and as it's not going to be too busy; just general info about the services offered, a few endorsements and most importantly contact details. Re hosting, again I'd like to play around as much as poss but atm limited by funds so any recomendations would be appreciated please. At some point in the future (I hope) I would be keen to optimise the search potential but again I don't want to run before I can walk so will be relying on giving out the site address to 'customers' direct. cheers v much in anticipation. h

thanks everso badger and s-s, all appears well at the mo thanks to the updates, I've reset the options to run at startup too which I perhaps should have had running anyway, complacencey is the biggest threat I reckon. That's a nasty little blighter for sure.
