Also met MLT in Debenhams once and followed him around like a store detective, peerring through the clothes rails. It was a long time ago. If I saw him in Debenhams now I might still follow him like a store detective, you know, just in case!

I once saw Andy Townsend in The Big Sheep in Devon or Cornwall. Note. He wasn't actually in a big sheep, he was in the Big Sheep, it's a tourist attraction.

Define? Thus is making me hanker for one right now arghhh! I should also add that as the delicacy cooks the juices from the (Kentish) beef ozzes into the bottom layer of pastry making every last crumb full of flavour. It's the kind of food that you have to shake the bag that it comes in to get the last bits into one corner and hold it aloft tipping every last bit into your mouth. Let's have another lokk:

Tim, has Ron got a copy of the match programme? If not PM me an address and he can have mine. It's in okay condition apart from some blighter writing '4' next to Ron's name on the teamsheet.

/\ Further to that, they are made with Kentish beef: Who could resist. NB They cost 96p each

In simple terms it is a gert big burger, topped with really tangy relish and baked in puff pastry. They cost about 80p and one is never enough for me. They bake them in-store but for some unexplained reason they stop baking them at about half one in the afternoon so invariably run out. Not to be confused with your run of the mill beefburger.

Genius lyrics, always coming up on my MP3 player and making me smile.

Another Kent one and as far as I am aware only available from a certain family chain of butchers. The amazing Burger Puff. I am quite sure that it is the presence of the Burger Puff that has prevented Maccy D's from setting up shop poisoning the local population. SandwicSaint and Colinjb (amongst others) I am sure will endorse this food item. Much as I like Gypsy Tart, it is the Burger Puff that keeps calling me home.

Sad. Are any of the channels putting a tribute show on? I loved Buffalo Girls especially.

Just a thought. As this time of the season usually throws up the unexpected result, anyone got any inside track on any forthcoming matcges? I'd like to throw Dover v Weymouth into the eqation: I was at The Crabble on Saturday and although they nullified most of Eastleigh's moves with basic defending and back-passing they are a very tired team. During the pre-match chat with Darren Hare (Ass Manager) in the dressing room he categorically said that they were not concerned who they got in the play-offs, should they get there (which they now have achieved) and furthermore they have a number of players who WOULD be rested. Apparently Nicky Southall is absolutely knackered and could hardly walk folowing their match with Hampton last week. Others include Adam Birchall and Ollie Schultz. imho Nicky S is a genuine talisman, picking up the morale and generally holding up play whilst attcking moves unfold. He scored the solitary goal on Monday to clinch the game btw. Weymouth are rock bottom and no-one in their right mind would expect them to even score let alone win against (7 wins on the bounce) Dover. Perhaps not though as I can see them managing a 0-0, 1-1 or at a stretch nicking it 1-0 or 2-1. Other than that I'd take the easy option of an open game producing >2.5 goals. Thoughts and where is the best place to put a tenner on please? Other inside track info for all to pick the bones out of appreciated. hamster (nap)
