We felt your presents, do you want to know what you've got or will that spoil the surprise?
-
Yes, we know. We are everywhere, I think the word is omnipresent (?).

I may be risking a 'visit' in the early hours, but doubt very much that NASA monitors SWF, but Buzz told me this. One of the best kept secrets from the moon landings was that they actually did find a life-form. The dead specimen was placed in a vacuum canister and put to one side whilst the astronauts collected further rock and dust samples. Prior to re-entering the ship, Neil apparently insisted on going looking for the golf ball (imagine how much it would be worth today). Anyway, overloaded and climbing the stairs he almost lost his grip on the artefacts and he had to choose between the golf ball and the vacuum canister. You guessed it, he dropped a major langer and kept the ball. Idiot. Secret unseen image here: http://www.collectablesltd.com/acatalog/major_clanger.jpg

Discovery Channel right now: Moonwalk One - Theo Kamecke's film of the moon landing. I remember the day and I was only five years old at the time, brilliant. If you don't believe it really happened, I feel sorry for you as it is to this day up there with the most amazing things that 'Man' has achieved. NOTE: I met Buzz Aldrin in T1 at Heathrow, nice chap and he joked about being afraid of flying. I think he was joking.

This is like The Truman Show WSS. The credits are up next, and when you return to your car to drive home there will be only one other car in the car park, it belongs to the lady who sells the (ridiculously overpriced) popcorn.

18! that is so terribly young, he was just a boy. My nipper and his Mrs are at Brands the weekend after next. It will be their first time on the GP circuit so approaching Sheene will be quite eerie for them, and as always a worry for me.

Not in SO16 it ain't, quite cloudy I am afraid as I had also set my alarm to see them tonight. Plus Southampton's light pollution is getting worse imo.

My nipper has just told me the sad news that Henry Surtees - son of John - tragically died following a motor racing accident on Sunday at Brands Hatch. He died in hospital on Sunday, he was only 18 years old. I am not into the sport myself but I do watch my nipper and his wife when they do their production BMW racing. And for that reason the news has touched me, as I am sure it will motor racing fans around the world. Rest in peace Henry and sincere heartfelt condolences to your family and friends. http://www.henrysurtees.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Surtees

Mouse has been having a field day recently, as I have been sleeping through his antics, and Mrs h has decided that she is a mousetarian, but I was in Shilay today and saw saw 4 proper mousetraps for a quis in Shirlay Market. I cannot resist a bargain, and I am pleased to announce that they are set. I decided on Chocolate malted milk biscuits as bait as I don't like them, but if he is not deaded by the morning, I will try some caramac that I believe is nor out of date.

Crab, I have an idea for a website which you are welcome to take forwrad and I think it fills a hole in curently overcrowded market. Whenever we take short breaks we like to take in some live music. I like to think that I know how to search the internet fairly well, so am amazed at how hard (nigh on impossible in some towns) to find live up to date listings. We usually end up phioning pubs in the town centre and asking for recomendations for live venues, then calling each one directly. You could combine the listings with links to said pubs which could in turn pay for the link. Add accomodation and restaurants and I reckon there would could be a great income stream from referalls too. Not my area of expertise (web design), but to demonstrate, have a search for live music this coming weekend in Oxford. There are 1 or 2 well pubicised venues, but the smaller ones are either not listed or are out of date. One could be forgiven for thinking they don't want people to know that they exist.

I was just wondering. What is the record number of points that a team has been deducted before, and could we soon see that record broken? It would be nice wouldn't it.

I am pleased to inform all concerned that I have been given the all clear to attend. I know it is an all weather pitch, does it follow that we are all weather players? -
