I quite like weird songs. Dean Friedman - Lucky Stars is a fave. And don't get me started on Old Shep, what a tearjerker.
  4. We have an extremely good car park. I am sure that I heard Rupert say that once.

Probably a couple Carpenters ones on my list, Solitaire and maybe Yseterday Once More. I once saw a Karen Carpenter tribute at the Concorde Club, very accurate potrayal, even made herself sick during the interval.
  6. That was a good hat fair imho, there was a really nice 'vibe'. Did you see the 'russian' (essex girl) doing things with hool-hoops in an extremely ill-fitting leotard? And thise dinosaur things were brilliant.

What would you say is the saddest song, for you personally? Can name as many as you want, and no requirement to explain the significance unless you want to. Maybe someone could find and post the 'official' list from a definitive (hah) source like *Melody Maker, *TOTP Monthly or even "la la lalala Look-In". *If those magazine titles mean nothing to you, then sorry but you are too young to take part in this thread.
  10. For the full ninety minutes though Baj! Come on, that's a bit lazy, even by your standards. You was very good I thought today, especially when you played deep putting in some good balls from the right (your left) and dribbling through from defence only to generously pass the ball was a nice touch. And in THAT heat. MOTM for me.
  11. Some would say 'hypo'
  12. ****. If ever you are on here late and want a chat, PM me. I'm always on here late as I am a somethingchondriac. Cars are built to protect us, you should let the thought that your family are safe and well be a calming thought for you. Try to be positive.
  13. You okay after the accident?
  14. Dear Mark Fry, please could you update the picture on this web page: http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1713096,00.html It would be nice to have one of you smiling for a change. x hamster
  15. Nail on head, close this thread.
  16. You missed me off your list. I've got some boots and I am familiar with the playing surface.
  17. This is excellent news. We are going to be the first club in history to have 3 goalies on the bench....ALL season.
  18. The scientific approach Al. if you get to this level of understanding then you should consider making a serious living from it. I did it a couple of years ago. I made lots of money by selling ONE single product. Whenevr we need a bit of pocket money, I sell one. Couldn't do it full time as I simply am not organised enough and also a little bit old and lazy. I think there is some very simple things that tp needs to do to learn the ropes. Start your item at 10p. Keeps your listing fees down and makes non selling items easy on the pocket. Added bonus, you get to keep your crap or give it to Oxfam Remember that if you want to sell it start at 10p. You will be able to watch the items progress. You will see just who is bidding and also whether there are many 'Watching' your items. The 'Watchers' are the ones that buy, and it gets quite exciting when you first have over 100 people watching 1one of your items. There really is some BIG money to be made. If it doesn't sell ask yourself "is this item basically a piece of ****?" If the answer is yes, then take it to the charity shop or even 'freecycle' it. Be honest, describe your items honestly, ensures good feedback and it is the right thing to do. Post quickly. If you are slow to post, you WILL get bad feedback. People wait right up until the early hours sometimes to get their dream Capucino maker, don't make them wait. Lastly, P&P. A tough one. Some like to make a few bob for themselves by 'overcharging', there is absolutely nothing wrong with this. People are not stupid, we are all adults. Properr lastly. Use PayPal.
  19. Don't do this tpbury.
  20. Don't worry this is not the first time that I have been mistaken for a nubile 18 year old naughty girl, but I can assure you that I am happily married. Anway grooming is not allowed on here PM me
  21. I will swap you a swig of your beer for a smoke on this 'cigarette' (sp)
  22. I am in no way condoning crime, violent crime and thieving appals me, but I know what it feels like to be young and all you hear around you is that your parents have no future and you have no future. I found some of the comments on the 'Specials' thread that was quite ironic considering that they were formed as a kick back to the politicians, they were the voice of disheartend kids who were watching their parents lose faith in the system. Lady Thatcher is very ill, I would like to bury the hatchett right now. I hope are feeling better very soon A great lady.
  23. I used to work directly alongside the runways, it was a truly amazing aircraft*. From a time when we used to make our own planes and not pay the wealthy men of the world for the priviledge as we now do, in the process making this world a not nice place to live for anyone anywhere on this whole planet. * my second favourite noise.
  24. That is the funniest thing that you have said for ages Stu. BTW how was the cough*software*cough? Do I get access to the new site then? Mate?
