See you there then. Although I am a maybe myself at this stage. -
Went to The Ship on Lymington Quay today. Very nice staff wise really lovely food. 5 *s from us. There are some really nice routes to Lymington too not least the Beaulieu route from Marchwood, you can stop and enjoy the ponies on the way. Even take a boat trip and buy some crabs straight from the quay if you want to make it rally special (is she from outside the area?). It was a lovely afternoon, a lovely meal and they sell Timothy Taylor ale (Madonna's favourite tipple).

We stopped at that one in March, really nice room, especially for the prioce (2-4-1) BUT it is one of the most poplular bars in salisbury and gets very, very noisy up 'til about 1AM. We were there for the Fri and Sat and took in some live music which although limited in choice of venue was still quite good. Rather than early nights we simply stayed in the bar until it died down a bit. It may be worth asking for a room not directly over the bar area as I think some rooms are along a corridor over the bank next door. There was a thread in the 'Arts Forum', I think it was 'live music in Salisbury' or something similar. And if you have not been in there before, you must try the Haunch of Venison' it's magical, especially if the locals are celebrating the catching of a mole with bottle of Sloe Gin, as they were when we went in. A very friendly bunch, and apparently fantastic food if you can geta table. Stay away from the italian restaurant (LOL) on the corner near to the Cathedral, the staff don't give a **** and if you are the type to always tip, the place will learn you why you should not do so. Winchester Gate in our experience is not worth the 10 minute walk and would not in fact be worth a 1 minute walk, dirty sticky carpet and skanky punters.

Shudders down the spine at the thought.. http://www.godalmingtownfc.co.uk/Site/Homepage.html They are washing cars and appealing for old mobiles and ink cartridges to raise cash !! Why didn't we think of that?

What about the Save Our Saints money? Didn't someone say that it was there as a 'last resort', maybe NOW is the time? And what about that pledge site? Can't Barclays or Aviva or the Council take us on?

I was lucky re the closure, going northbound as the emergency services arrived and as we came home it must have just opened again, but that was gone 7 in the evening. Were they measuring the skidmarks or something like that which took so long?

It's the curse of the 'Player of the Season' award.

3 dogs = NO CAT btw peanut butter was source of some hilarity last night. Cosmic (the Patterdale who is not allowed upstairs) managed to creep up there and set off both traps! You'd have thought that the first would have given him a clue! It's a bloody good job I didn't get around to using the new back-breakers, instead offering Mr Mouse one final chance to surrender via the plastic route. Bit late to set the new ones right now, so if you reading this Mr Mouse either **** off and bother soemone else or choose. Peanut butter and live, or chocolate tomorrow and DIE. Does that make sense?

What could I plant over the next two weeks that would take? Last year was a disaster btw. I need to keep it simple and don't mind just going for 2 or 3 vegetables, I have planted quite a few spuds last weekend, but have an area of roughly 4 yards x 6 uards than I can double dig (back permitting) to accomodate.

I have to admire your generosity here DSM. However, if you claim on HIS insurance and he is in the first year then he will only wait one extra year to get back where he is now re NCD surely? You would be entitled to a hire car from his insurers and you get a top notch repair job into the bargain, thus increasing the trade-in value. There will be other cars mate, there are always other cars. Alternatively, why not call the dealers where you are planning to trade-in explaining your predicament? Tell them that regretfully you can't go through with the deal and you may find that they have marked up the new motor so much and need/want the commision so bad that they take yours as is. Everyone wins, no? Just my thoughts mate, and if you go through with the 'nice' way, then you will be a step nearer to heaven I am sure.

Done, don't thank me.

I really enjoyed watching snippets on TV (again) this weekend. Been saying for donkeys ears that we will go 'next year', and we're not getting any younger. When should I be planning to get tickets for next year please? And what do people recomend re tents campers etc. I used to do stuff like 'Monsters of Rock' and 'Heavy Metal Holocaust' in my teens, and don't have the lust for roughing it that I used to have, plus Mrs h is a lady and I must treat her a such.

I have an extremely rare 20p coin from 2009. It has 3 flaws/errors, it has the date '1999' stamped on it, it has the wrong currency value on it ie is says '5p' instead of the '20p' it should have, and it is the wrong size too (about the size of a 5p piece). This is the only one in existence to the best of my knowledge. Yours for a tenner, or consider swapping for a nine bob note.

Cookery thread Mole. You have been here long enough to know the rules FFS. Right, I am off to look at canal boats. Ahoy there matey's.

Wasn't having a pop st. Agrreing with you, but I can't quite make out why they sold out? One of my fave album titles, that actually (mis)spelt what the music industry tries to do when a band hits the charts was Wet, Wet, Wet's 'Popped In Souled Out'

Congratulations and celebrations to you both Jillyanne. A long and happy life to you both. xx's

Labour of Love? Good title, only chose that as 'Money for Nothing' had already been used imo. Lazy Brummies. Having said that, I do kinda like Homely Girl.
-
That site even tells you how to identify one of these coins that has no date on it. Very helpful indeed as I was wondering what to look for.

Would this involve actually getting into the shower Pancake?

Good spot TG, but why TMS? At the risk of being ridiculed, am I missing some joke here?
