I think most people if being honest would say that ambition is over-rated. Eventually one has to take stock and basically stop to smell the flowers, realising the tranquility, serenity, purity and beauty of simply co-existing with ones world. At the end of the day a content person is one who appreciates the value of what they have right under their noses. Matt had/has much under his nose to be content with, when you meet and chat to him you realise what a fulfilling career he had medals or no medals. Sometimes there is absolutely no need to increase your effort and responsibilities.
