I found this site Al: http://www.vapextech.co.uk/acatalog/High_Power_Consumer_Batteries.html which ones would you recomend please? Some say 'New technology', dos that mean they are better?

Ypu spotted my intentional eror, yes it's a Pentax. The current rechargeables are NiCad Encore (cheapy) 700mAh. All greek to me, but reading your post, mine must be pretty useless compared to what you and Minty use. I will check out some prices, cheers. A layman's explanation of the specs re Nimh/Nicad would be handy though if you can spare the time to expalin, as I can then recomend to the people in the camera club at work, and they will love me.

Bring the Caps out for Bally - Burnley (H) 25/04
hamster replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
My fourpenneth is that some see Bally as one of a literally, dieing breed of down to earth, heart on his sleeve type of players that you (as a fan) felt an affinity to. He was not only an ex saint (2 spells) and an ex manager, he was a WORLD CUP WINNER. Others, also like a theme for the last home game, so I can't really see why people are questioning the idea. Unless of course someone has a more deserving player to use as the theme? -
What power options would the experienced snappers recomend for my Pentax K110D please? I like using rechargeables, but mine don't seem to have the oomph and run down fairly quickly. I don't really want to spend a fortune on throw-aways though. Cheers in advance people.

This worries Stu tbh. Matt knew when to hang up his boots. For the sake of your health, please reconsider, I would miss your posts if anything 'happened'. Anyway, have you come up with a name yet, or are you gonna 'plump' for the Luzzies or something similarly crass?

Still made up though, shirley?

Hmmm?

And when I click my fingers you will be back in the room.

Just called the ticket office and they have confirmed that there is no limit on the number of additional tickets each ST holder can purchase for the Derby game nor the Palace 'Kids 4 a Quid' offer. Happy days.
-
Yes trousers I totally agree with you, they could have seen how the sales went over the next week, then maybe done a promotion, but then would have had to sort out refunds. Maybe they're hoping to sell 3 tickets per customer all in one go, it certainly won't hurt to have a few extra quid in the bank right now, especially as they won't be getting any ST money in for at least another month, maybe longer.

Maybe there is a deal being finalised between FlyBe and the Referee's Association regarding shirt sponsorship of officials? That decision may have clinched it methinks. And anyone who seriously says that it was not 'hand to ball' is s liar. I've seen enough clear cut decisions go against us, so when tha tables are turned I enjoy the buzz that Man U fans seem to enjoy so much.

I have been in the back of many vans, also, I am willing to play in any position. Back to this Carlos bloke, I don't think the girly fans would like him coming to us, far too puygly imo click below to see what an out of shape lump he is:

Also, from the announcement on OS: Meanwhile, the following ticket news has been released for three of Saints' forthcoming home fixtures. Derby County on Tuesday 10th March 2009 All season ticket holders can buy additional tickets for just £5 each Charlton Athletic on Saturday 4th April 2009 Ticket prices are being reduced to: Adults £15 Concessions £5 Crystal Palace on Monday 13th April 2009 This game will have a "Kids for a Quid" promotion. All supporters 16 and under will pay just £1 for their tickets. I for one say this is great news, great business, great PR, great everything imo. If (as we surely, all do hope) the recent upturn continues, I would expect 20k plus home gates for these 3 games. So many of us, for so long have been urging the club to get bums on seats, that this surely is a test of our steel, COYR's.

Was funny when the lino slipped into the corner flag, both sets of fans sang "she fell ober", and he smiled back.

And increasing the players workmate.

What would Thatcher have done with the banks do you all think? Would she be considering selling off Royal Mail whilst nationalising banks? Ironic don't you think?

The other day my deaf/mute nephew swore at me using sign language, his Mother washed his hands out with soap.

Morning folki, My Grandson came running into our lounge the other day, and said that there was a man at the door with a bill. My wife told him not to be silly, it was probably just a large duck witha hat on. And while I was sitting in the doctors waitning room the other day, a woman walked in with a juicy red strawberry balanced on her head. The girl on reception told her to take a seat and she would get the doctor to prescibe some cream for it.

If you bought some chocolate flavoured condoms and subsequently discovered that they did not taste the least bit chocolately, would you take them back?

To be fair, Jan would have been convinced that black was white if rupert told him that it was. Many (like me) fell for the romantic dream of beautiful football, but that's a fans perogative, I don't get paid to be a fan, Rupert and co are paid to make good football decisions and they ****ed up. If it is true what I read and hear about Wotte telling Rupert to keep his ruddy nose out of the dressing room and to stay away from all 'football' maters, then I predict good things for all comncerned.

You know what, I think you've hit on somethingb here hypo. I too noticed how 'involved' Svensson was on the touchline. It surely cannot be just coincidence that Rudi's form seems to have taken an upturn, he was taking a hell of a lot on his shoulders when we he first came out of the wilderness under Jan. Maybe Killers made the others at the back take responsibilty for their selection. I voted Rudi my MOTM because i reckon he is pushing forward and giving the midfield and forward confidence to win games. Just compare the body language under Wotte to how it was. Rudi is my tip for player of the season although the less football savvy will go for the ones who score most goals. Also note how Kelvin really does command his box now, he doesn;t have to be nervous about those in front of him anymore. ( until next week) I believe that we are THE team of the week. Great performance, great management , great fans, and it felt ****ing great to be part of it. And god it would be a fool who predicts a crowd of less than 20,000 fir the Derby game at this rate.
