Indeed, And stated by Androids own fair hand in the last CVA. - They clearly stated that they expected the amounts creditors were claiming would reduce significantly (Based on proof of debt). It's as if he had a crystal ball.

We are still accepting pledges towards our pre-share scheme and every one will help if our bid is successful and it will guarantee that the majority Shareholders of Portsmouth Football Club through a community buy-out will be the fans themselves Only majority shareholders now? So are the HNW indidviduals going to own the other 49%, or this the council buying part of fratton park? The Administrators have been engaged in detailed discussions and negotiations with various parties over the last few months with a view toensuring the future of Portsmouth FC and delivering a better return for creditors than they would otherwise have received had the Club been placed in liquidation (without first having been placed in administration). This Proposal for a CVA is desirable in our opinion because it achieves those objectives. Is this saying what I think it is; As in there would have been a better return for the creditors if the club had been liquidated straight away? Given the money raised from transfers and the payment from the league it is certainly more than 500k. Another gamble that went wrong from a pompey adminstrator?

POMPEY SUPPORTERS TRUST STATEMENT IN RESPONSE TO PORTPINS OFFER TO CREDITORS - 08/06/2012 Following the release today of the details of the Proposal to Creditors for a Company Voluntary Agreement by the Administrators of Portsmouth Football Club (2010) Ltd by PKF (UK) LLP and by Portpin, the PST would like to take the opportunity to respond. The details of the proposal are not unexpected and were discussed at a meeting this morning of the PST Bid team, it is by no means certain that this offer will be accepted by the Creditors. Having now seen the detail of Portpins bid and offer to Creditors, we would like to announce the following. Early next week Antony Fanshawe of Begbies Traynor, acting on behalf of the PST, will have formal discussions with Trevor Birch and PKF with a view to presenting a bid from the PST on behalf of the Community within 7 days. We are confident that this counter-offer will deliver a better return to creditors than the offer made today by Portpin. We would also like to urge all Pompey fans and supporters of the PST and the Community Buy-Out to stand behind us during this process and continue the great support we have had throughout the past few months. We are still accepting Pledges towards our Pre-Share scheme and every one will help if our bid is successful and it will guarantee that the majority Shareholders of Portsmouth Football Club through a Community Buy-Out will be the Fans themselves

The only probelm with that Torres (Based on my understanding), is that a no show, or they dont vote, is a counted as acceptance

How much TV rights / Football league money do you get in league one? I bet it is around......................500k. Club for free - We love you Chinny

Green had an outstanding season in the Championship. Too many are making judgements on his error against the US. Many goalies are at their prime between 29- 34 Three year deal on a proven keeper, who has played internationally on 45k a week, isn't a million miles off a 3 million Jack Butland signing on 25k a week and hoping he fulfils his potential. In many ways if we do sign him, it will go against the mould of players we have bought or seemed to be linked with. But the goal keeping position, is different and Adkins will know better than most about that.

It's a tough one. I hate all the diving and think that our only problem is Lallana.... the flip side and completely hypocritically, is I would have taken each and every one of the penalties, his dives didn't get.

Yes indeed, but for the glorious interviews with Avram and Storrie, it is pure comedy gold.

Ive seen the reports, but not sure I fully understand. I am assumming there is a reason they want the 53rd ranked over and above the number one?

Regardless of what posters on here think will or won't happen for Saints over the next few years, the reality is that next season, our single biggest objective next season is to avoid relegation. If we can bring in quality players that help us acheive that, it would be hard to argue against it. It's NA's job to make sure that doesn't harm the team spirit and to date he seems to have excelled in this department. Additionally, having players of this quality will help attract other quality players and our own players stand a much better chance of improving their own games and abilities by playing and training with better players. Back to back promotions have gone to some peoples heads. We really are still "Little old Southampton" and whatever we go on to acheive, it won't be overnight.

I'm not a 100% sure, but I think Chinny has enough % of the debt to get it through regardless of the other creditors

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/birch-chainrai-s-cva-set-to-be-sent-to-creditors-1-3921078 Looks like we get to see whats on the table this week. Its a pretty downbeat launch from Birch - Maybe as it is all irrelevant, unless he can get rid of the high earners. Birch; Come on Tal, do the right thing and wave your salary to help save the club TBH: Are you going to wave your administration fees........................
-
Begrudingly, I have to admit that this thread might well be in its final throws. Even last week I was convinced that Chinny would sail in to save the day and collect the parachute payments. Birch's bombshell that Chinny coming back is dependent on shifting the high earners, changes everything. This probably will be the week.

Is that right mlg? Ive seen the exeter echo or whatever it is called, with articles on howthey might be saved because of pompeys situation. Don't go all pompus on me - genuine question

Desperate isn't the word. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/hermannator-i-might-be-back-1-3916786 One last scoff from the trof
