You need to watch it on the All angles covered version. I've seen it 20 times, it is as clear as day.
-
Quite clearly. All angles covered has a better insight than BBC gave. Kelvin approaches first, and he and cortese exachange high five, cuddle and then either a peck on the cheek or whisper in the ear. Next is adkins, both men heads down smiles gone an an awkward handshake with no eye contact. You don't need to be an expert in these things to work out all was not well

You would have to be blind to not realise that something was up between NC and NA after we won promotion. Let's just hope it is resolved.

It's absolutely correct - Same for all clubs and players

Burst out laughing and the dog looked at me as if I was nuts. Quality post Dune

Don't sweat it Rallyboy, those that get it...just do - hard to put into words. When we get some "incoming" from the main board, I always think of sourmash having a go and telling us how stupid we were, how they were just fine and gotten away with it. 24 hours later, the russian was in nick, CSI was in admin and lampitt was assuring the world, everything was dandy. I always thought it was a bit greedy when this thread lurched into it's second major failed takeover, so to be on the fifth and knowing that the 6th isn't a million miles away, brings a tear to my eye. The failed CVA points deduction will happen. It has too, but regardless, they are in league one, with an squad they can't afford and can't sell..... The Southcoast is ours. As for a night on the beer with the main protaganists on here, I am sure I have read somewhere not to meet people off the internet, but for this I would make an exception. The choice of venue would be intresting. I am sure Hole Puncture would opt for Moneyfields social, I think my preference would be the concord club (Or whatever it is called now) so we could wave TBH into wellington throwing rose petals on the floor for him to walk on. Regardless where it is, guranteed to be the single biggest collection of nutjobs in the country

Went to (Sorry) gun wharf yesterday. Some of the Paul Smith stuff is top draw, but ended up (This makes me feel ancient) buying 3 shirts from Austin Reed. It will take a couple of trips to the dry cleaners to see if the quality is as good as it seems but 3 shirts for 90 quid. Feels like a bargain.

I think there is every chance. It might depend on how many points they get deducted, but chinny isn't coming back to build a great squad, so the large majority of players will be unknowns.

No mate. The closest Ive ever been to being ITK is Paul Scharner and even with that, I have no idea if we reached out to him or his agent has has approached us.(Which they all do and to every club, so it wouldnt mean much, if it was that way round). -

I loved Strachan, but in our two biggest matches we never went for it and think he bottled it to a certain extent. 1) The FA cup final, "Battered" probably isn't the right word, but Arsenal had another 4 gears to go up, if we had shown any signs of a fight. They controlled the game and we were happy keeping the score line respectful. I would rather have conceeded another 1 or 2 goals in exchange for really pushing forward and moving the game up a pace or two, throwing a littel caution to the wind. 2) Away to Steaua. We needed to score, but we played as if we wanted a draw - Never understood the tactics, shape or motivation for how we played that night,

Perfect analogy. But instead of the short sharp painless death, it will be feather by feather, with several stages of painful humiliation, until the balance on some account, in some tax haven reads 18,900,000.

Bob Paisley?? Joe Fagan?? I don't think for one second Adkins would be offered the job or seriously considered this time round, but he absolutely will be on their radar. Martinez is one of the favorites, but only ever worked with smaller clubs (Albeit in the Prem) He fits the old anfield boot room culture perfectly, that was so incredibly successful. If this was in six months time and Saints were in the top ten, it might not sound as quite as silly.

Unless the pending HMRC ruling goes his way. Also I quite like the idea that AA is in the wings , waiting to pull of some sort of contract termination stunt.
-
I imagine he will be buying the club for a pound and then obviously agree to a minimal CVA, start in two years time, but with five years to pay. I could even see him sell a % to the trust (See yesterdays comments on the web chat) with an option for them to buy on the never never or as and when they raise more money. But almost certainly sold before any CVA payments are due.

Any Estate Agents out there?? Or recent dealings with Austin & Wyatt???
Gemmel replied to um pahars's topic in The Lounge
A word of warning; I recently did some work with a very large financial company and one of the contractual terms was that the team of my guys who would be required on site, would need to undergo a credit check. Our legal counsel and HR Director refused, on the basis that apprently (I never knew this) the number of credit checks conducted on you can effect your credit score. Now it turned out that this was more for the Americans than the UK staff, but I never really got a definative answer as to whether it would effect the UK lot or not. Long waffle - But if you come to buy it, don't let any tom **** or harry perform credit scores on you, just to satisfy their sales cycle.
