  3. Oh dear. They are 50 miles away............. They are in the same region. I don't particulary think of it as a"Local Derby" but to suggest that they are not in the same region is stupid. Bournemouth is a local derby (Like it or not) and they all have the bizarre criteria ( Different County, Post code, area code). I am not suggesting they are bitter rivals, I simply said they were in the same region - Which they are.
  4. Of course they are in the same region.
  5. Have you been drinking Art? There's no kudos in even thinking of throwing a match for whatever reason and then you go on to say that they have rivals they hate, just not this team. How bizarre
  6. Well I just read the report and might have to take back my prediction this morning they won't be liquidated. Outside of the higher than expected debt, a few nice snippets, but basically the whole document is one big dig at the secured creditors. 1) Baker Tilly seem to have dibs on the parachute payments - Birch still looking into this. 2) Chinny - he's trying to go for the parachute payments - Birch looking into whether this is possible 3) Some 4 million pounds might have been magiced from the old co, but guess what - Birch is looking into this. But when you add it all up, the message to BT, Chinny and Gaydamak (Unless I am being very stupid) is that you will get a tiny amount from a CVA and most likely nothing from liquidation. But looks like all three of them have dropped Birch and are going straight for the gold parachute payments. What I do think (No idea if this is even legal) is that there is strong possibility the FL agreed to give new co the Golden Share last time round on the basis that the parchute payments were assigned to Baker Tilly. As noted at paragraph 3.23 the receipt of future payments is subject to compliance withPremier League rules. Certain Parachute Payments otherwise due to the Company arepotentially subject to an assignment in favour of OldCo. Our solicitors are investigating theCompaniesposition in respect of the assignment and we are unable to comment any further at this stage.
  7. It's the start of the end game, but I don't think it will be liquidation. Relegation plus starting in league one on minus 10, whilst their neighbours are in the Premier (Sound familiar :) ). There isnt a money man coming in throw money at them, so for the first time in a long long long time, that means they will need to live within their means. All lines of credit have been shut. Attendances will drop to around an average on 10k and that's where "The End game" or "Justice" will kick in. Whatever the new CVA looks like, I can't see it getting approved, but they will still have to pay it. There is 14 million of parachute payments left, with 7 Million (And growing) football debts which basically leaves nothing of any substance left over. They will need to build a squad, service the new CVA and run the club on next too nothing. There is a very strong possibility of another relegation next year. League 2 and averages will drop to around 8k and that my friends is when they will have "Found their level" and they will be back in their box, with the lid firmly shut. As the saying goes, you can't polish a turd.

  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17663750 I don't need to be told the rule book. This just shows how out of touch they really are.
  10. How about you stop telling fans how they should act and what they should and shouldn't sing.and just worry about yourself? You seem to be paranoid as to how we come across to other fans and work to some unknown protcol of how to act and behave at football matches. Of course some fans are cringeworthy, but (by enlarge) I'd still rather have them there supporting the team. Just let others be and let them enjoy it how they want too and if you want to make sure that you are dressed appropriately, singing the right songs at the right time and acting defly cool, then that's down to you, but for alot of us football is a release and 90 mins of the week, where we don't have to worry about stuff. Chill the fook out
  11. Just had an email from the footballl league saying they won't know the situation regarding the failed CVA, until they understand the new one. Which is something we all guessed, but nice to have it confirmed that Neil allen and birch are talking ****.
  12. They weren't great, but not having that as an a reason for the result. A totally proffessional performance across the whole pitch. Capped by two great saves from a goalie that had fook all to do for the other 89 mins. We looked like Champions today.
  13. Couldn't see one, but that's not much to go on in my state. Take a bow Dean Hammond and Jack Cork. Simply outstanding...... Premier League performances.
  14. Pub in Shirley with a big sign saying they are showing it live
  15. Someone goes to the effort of writing up the detail of events and you want to have a pop at his grammar. Tool.
  16. Wer'e Super Saints And We'll laugh like f@#k Cos your'e going down And Wer'e going up (Tune minus 10 who gives a fook)
  17. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-loanee-ruled-out-for-rest-of-the-season-1-3706230 They've been raving about him since he came on loan. This is good news.
  18. And Yes.... It was a serious post....don't ya just love em http://fansonline.net/portsmouth/mb/view.php?id=424462 This PST grand share for the club thing. What happens when we get to a F.A Cup Final again ? 1. do these one's that have paid a grand in to the club get all tickets rather than the season ticket holders come that time ? If you dont cough up a grand and you go to Pompey Home & Away where does this leave you ? This is a devide of rich and poor fans. Sorry but this is a bad move and cant see 8 Mill lasting long @ PFC
  19. Birch is on record saying that Chinny did put money in. As for challenging the validty of the charge, that is just standard practice by administrators....... But the liquidator or other appointee will usually challenge your retention of title clause, even if it is valid. If you accept this, you become an unsecured creditor of the debtor – which often means you get nothing when the proceeds of sale of the business are distributed – leaving the liquidator with more for secured creditors (and his own fees). http://www.lawdonut.co.uk/law/commercial-disputes/debt-recovery/getting-your-goods-back-if-you-aren-t-paid
  20. I am sure you will all be ok, but the ticket office is situated next too............. Could well be the OB don't want a large congregation of Saints fans so close, metal walls or not (I am right in thinking the metal walls didn't really work last time)
  21. Got A Dream Boy Got A Song.................
  22. How can birch have agreed anything about a points deduction, when he hasn't even created the new CVA. I would have thought that asking for people to invest everything should be considered. Imagining investing in something to find its hamstrung from the start. I could be wrong, but I simply can't see a case where they won't be penalised for the failed CVA. The state of football finances and the football creditors rule under threat, if the FL stand back and do nothing, it is literally inviting clubs to go into admin, ditch the debt, and instead of keeping to their promises and obligations, go and spunk that money on trying to ge a better squad (Which is exactly what pompey have done) and they announce they cant pay up. Before pfc123 gets all excited about what birch and allen have said, take a trawl back through some previous administrators claims.... The only scenario that could possibly work without a deduction is if 100% of the onginal creditors agree to the new one. From memory, the CVA as passed at 78%, so if 4% of the old CVA, vote against the new one.......Oh I don't know, but they will be punished, not least for not getting a new CVA this time round.
  23. But it could all mean nothing, as I posted yesterday, HMRC decsion due before the end of the season; http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...roy-Portsmouth
  24. I'm no expert pedg, but from what I have read and understood, ity only reverts back to the original debt (Am I am not entirely convinced I've read this correctly) if the new CVA doesn't get the 75% vote. So the vote going into the second CVA (Worst case for us) would need 75% of 50 million (38 million quid) of which(very roughly; 17 Million CVA1 Voters 17 Chanrai 10 CSI / Andriod 3 Million HMRC (Second lot of debt) 3 Million floating So actually writing it down like that may be they can get one through, although intrestingly enough all the big players need to go for it and if Chinny is being stitched up or andriod is still upset etc etc.
  25. WSS, Torres. The dates for the original CVA are a mute point. It has formally failed as declared by Birch and confirmed by Baker Tilly in correspondence to all creditors.
