  1. Wrote and got a phone call from Andy Oldknow on his behalf, the same morning as he would have received the letter. Execellent customer service. (beginning of last season)
  2. It doesn't. I was thinking more along the lines of local schools, business'es, media etc.
  3. Whilst I fully support the intiative, I am intrigued as to why someone who "Fully understands the importance of the Club in the community", appears to have alienated that very same community in such a short space of time.
  4. The wealthy bit must narrow it down :lol:
  5. Actually on this you might just have a point. However, most of the pompey fans were whinging and whining about how could two skint arabs have passed the FAPP test, and the fact they had no money, more than as to whether anyone actually existed or not and the fact is that the FAPP was never about finances as each club would have different ambitions, which would require different levels of funding and it was not for the FA to dictate those ambitions. So certainly to start with (As always with pompey) it was about the money. Your willingness to accept gaydamak is proof enough that you are not too fussed on the moral side of things. When it came to light (And indeed here and now) that Faraj might not exist, then yes you do have a point and the PL will either need to sweep everything under the carpet ( Helpful for Chanerai) or turn on Richards, who looks like he might have over stepped his remit. Having said all of that, without those series of events, you might not exist at all, so could it be fair to say that your current success and existence is built on foundations of lies, deceit, crime, fraud, manipulation and money laundering?
  6. And there is the problem. They can't penalize somebody for not existing when they sanctioned the non existent person in the first place. To say they have got lucky is an understatement; 1) If they had been any other type of business they would have been liquidated in the courts. 2) If Richards hadn't got invloved, there would be potential reprocussions, but as he did, it is now unlikely 3) If the parachute payements hadn't gone up, then the CVA would be impossible to support and the secured debt would have out stripped the income. But i still maintain, Storries court case will come back and haunt them.
  7. http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=9896 An Excellent Piece and the media bandwagon is slowly starting to catch on..... This might not be all over. Couple of points. Outside of nobody ever meeting al mirage, a picture of al mirage was provided to the Premier league with all the paperwork and the picture was provided by "Getty Images" (Worlds largest photo libary company)............ Who have now said they didnt provide it and have no picture of al mirage. Ok ok, so it's not much, but then if you follow the logic of Ali Al Faraj........... That means; The current Portsmouth owner, Balram Chainrai, became part of the Portsmouth “saga” when he loaned money to a company owned by a man who didn’t exist, making Chainrai complicit or careless to the point of negligence
  8. I think it's only fair you explain Peter Storries role at the club, before you go offering 20 mars bars a week, to kids that you quite obvioulsy can't afford.

It was a very valid point btf, and i'm not surprised you dodged it (As expected)
  10. This thread should probably be moved as the whole "Administration" thing is an intresting topic, that will no doubt come up more times, as more clubs end up there! But with an attempt to make it Saints related, it does obviously have an impact on us and not only that but the figures are very simimlar to ours (Debt wise) With regard to the OP we did seek a sell out or investment "Cut price" prior to admin, (On top of Michaels claims that he had secured investment) and NC has already confirmed that he was offered Saints....And there in lays the problem. For those with cold hard cash, it is almost always better to buy from admin, as it is much cheaper; Saints are the perfect example, NC offered prior to admin and not interested, as soon as admin came up, we were a "Bargain" (ML words). We'll see if anyone buys them ahead of admin, but i doubt it. I expect mandick to buy his third club from administration in the near future. Oh and the only reason Sheffield and pompey still exist is because they are a football club.... Any other business and they would have been closed down (Judge accepts they are trading insolvently)

We'll get a good idea with tens of million viewers, tens if not hundreds of thousands on the streets of London and the upsurge in Tourism. It will be a fantastic occassion that the World will celebrate with us and our chance to show off one of our greatest assets... The Royal Family.

    Train advice

Huffon, if you can find another two people travelling (Just ask in the queue) you can get a group discount, which from memory works out at 18 quid for an adult and 1 pound for the kids. Oh and a single adult ticket before 8.45 on a weekday from Southampton to Waterloo is 68 quid ...lol
  22. That's just so wrong. Would any other Country stand for that, let alone protect them? When did we get so soft? As others have said, (And you have to laugh, otherwise you would cry) we are more than likely supporting them with houses, benefits, healthcare etc etc. I would consider myself tolerent of all races and religions - but i find my tolerence and acceptance of other cultures, religons etc, eroding everytime i see rubbish like this. I guess it's another example of the tiny element ruining it for the decent majority.
  23. Direct quote from Glen Hoddle. The chairman wanted me to come back and I wanted to come back, but I needed 100% backing of the board and there were a couple of Directors, who weren't in favour, so i just felt i couldn't do it and explained that to the Chairman. As for probably being a prem team now, Hoddle, failed in every job after Saints, but you know that anyway, but if it keeps you off the streets, then keep on posting about twaddle.
  24. I really think this one was as defining moment it Saints downturn as anything else (Including administration) . If only Crouch had run the ball into the corner against Middlesborough.
  25. 26) One of the players dropping the lid of the FA cup after too many drinks and a local Jeweler working on it during the night.
